LeazesMag 0
I hereby give notice that win, lose or draw, it is possible that I might not be posting on here until a few days after the match again. As I will be at the game, I will definitely notice the result though, as it is of the utmost importance.
Ayatollah Hermione 13766
Nowt constructive to say about it then? They've got a surprisingly decent record up here over the past couple of seasons but I'm going for a comfortable NUFC win. They've looked absolutely desperate every time I've seen them this season. Papa Lazaru 0
If we turn up believing this is already won we might slip up, but if we are fired up from the start and turn in a good performance this could be a nice comfortable win. Its the perfect chance for Pardew to give HBA and Santon starts in place of Best and whichever fullback he prefers. But if he does drop Simpson i'd hope he would move Rayor to RB and put Santon at LB, which is probably what i'd go with, i think Raylor deserves to stay in the team more than Smpson. I'm going for a win with a few goals and some entertaning football!

I could, but I wanted to make it clear to certain people that I don't duck issues based on if the team wins or loses, or I am right or wrong, unlike others. The result is all that matters to me ie what happens on the pitch, the results drive the finance. Anyway, regarding individual games, I always think we can play well and win on the day, no matter who it is against, but I don't like making predictions, I'm superstitious like that. I have never bet on NUFC in any game, even in an accumulator, for instance. Its just up to NUFC to play well and give it their best. I am pleased they don't have zoggy playing for them anymore. wykikitoon 19859
We should beat these. I have a real hatred for the Pie Eating bastards especially Dave Whelan the shit!
acrossthepond 866
Normally I'd say this is the sort of game we regularly slip up on, but we are full of confidence and Wigan are rather the opposite. If we can avoid complacency, we outclass Wigan in every area of the pitch. Get Ben Arfa, Santon and Marveaux on - new signings (well almost in HBA's case) who will be hungry to prove a point and I think we'll see a demolition on Saturday. I doubt Pardew will change a winning team though.
Brock Manson 0
No Ryan Taylor or Zoggy playing for them anymore so that's a definite plus. I think we'll manage a 2-0 win, as they might surprise us. There are no truly easy games that are a given result but I'm sure Pardew will be drumming this into the players on the day. Hope Cabaye gets a goal as well.
hostile_statue 0
We should definitely win this. Would be nice to see Ben Arfa, Santon and/or Marveaux start but I don't think Pardew will change anything. 2-0 to the Toon, Ba and Ben Arfa. Andrew 4713
theyve lost all the quality they did have with no Zog and with Rodallega injured (if he still is? ) the defence is a shambles, youve got to be to make chris eagles look good we'll need the right attitude but, as said, this is also a good opportunity for Santon and HBA to get a start, they try to play football, arent cloggers but ARE a bit crap, perfect fixture

OTF 7243
Agree that giving some returning players a go here might be the perfect way to help keep the team motivated. Protecting an unbeaten record is great motivation as well, but this sort of match is one that players could easily go into thinking it's won already and conseqeuently be flat. Ben Arfa and Santon into the starting line-up at the expense of Obertan and Simson/Raylor. Marveaux given a good run out as well pending the results at the time, replacing Best with Ben Arfa moving into a free role.

TINOASPRILLA 0
These are there for the taking, I always feel we'll really hump at least one team a season by 4 or 5 and this could be the game. Confidence must be sky high in the squad and Wigan look bloody awful from what I've seen.
Monroe Transfer 0
They're nailed on to go down, if you ask me.
Tom 14011
They've been nailed on to go down for a few years.
Howmanheyman 32706
I'm expecting a tough game simply because a few of our lot may get a little blase about this match, (and I'm including some of our support in this). Its human nature after the start we've made. As long as they can up their game when we know we're actually in for a tougher time than they thought then hopefully we'll have enough. Pardew cannot hammer this home enough this week for me. No complacency for a great chance to get more points on board.
Monroe Transfer 0
They've been nailed on to go down for a few years. More nailed on than the last couple of seasons then. They were half decent a couple of years ago when Valencia and Palacios etc still played for them. I'm more nervous about this match than I would be against Man Utd - it's a game we really should be expecting to win. Would be typical if the supposedly easiest match of our upcoming games is the one that breaks our unbeaten run.
Tom 14011
Yeh we definitely need to concentrate & take control of the game early on. They are utter gash but I wouldn't take them too lightly, it's hard to type because I think we should be smashing them but as mentioned before complacency could rear it's ugly head. Perhaps freshening the side up with Ben Arfa and Santon could prevent it?
Howmanheyman 32706
Then again, if we can beat both Fulham and Blackburn at home, games we always seem to struggle to get three points from, then we've got to have a chance against another bogey side.
