luckypierre 0
fookin hell , its hardly the same is it.. If I find out which bastard cat keeps shitting on my garden I'd gladly run over it. Thats the thing with cats at least dog owners can be held responsible, cats are just let out to do what they want.

Ketsbaia 0
I'd do the same, to be fair. If it doesn't look like it has a chance of surviving then it's probably best to put it out of it's misery.

The Fish 10671
sorry but I'm not going to beat myself up if a cat runs out in front of my car. if it's dead, then fair enough, but if it's still suffering I'd snap it's neck. Obviously if it's only problem is broken leg or similar then I'd probably take it to a vet, but to be fair it's a cat and while many people are attached to them I wouldn't be as over the top as some of the responses on here. 71209 and you're a vet are you? a simple look at a feline in pain and you can deduct how bad its injuries are? 71224 not a Vet no, but if it's hind quarters are at unnatural angles and it's dragging itself to the side of the road shaking a fist and dialling First Claims, then I might lend a hand if it's torso looks pretty mashed up, it's coughing up blood and it's spasming violently, I'd hazard a guess that the wee bugger is doing it's darndest to shuffle off this mortal coil and I'd hurry it a long with a a quick sleeper hold followed by a suplex off the top rope... I cannot believe you're comparing the life of a cat to the life of a person.

Guest Toplass-101
Running over the cat to ensure its dead instead of taking it to a vets is horrible, as is dumping a cat in the garden. Twats! tbh

BastianSchweinsteiger 0
All of you are going on about putting it out of its misery by killing it. Would it really hurt to pick it up and take it to a vet at the expense of, what, 5 minutes?

Would it really hurt to pick it up and take it to a vet at the expense of, what, 5 minutes? 71287 Do you know where the nearest vet is? At my place in manchester i have no idea where any are. Here in scotland the nearest is on the highstreet but is only open for an hour a day. The next closest is the best part of 20 miles away. At the end of the day its a cat, if its well enough to get up and limp/run away then theres nothing you can do. If its obviously in pain in a state where it cant move then all the vet would do is put it to sleep, so you'd save the animal pain. The guy who ran over the animal 12 times or whatever obviously did it for some sordid reason, not to put it out of its misery.
The Fish 10671
but animals are just as importnat as humans... they should get the vote... and have insurance... and pay tax... and be subject to conscription...
