One of my mates openly spreads the word that top gun is his favourite film. Would be in me top 10 eighties shows as would Terminator and 48 Hours, Another 48hrs (Nick Nolte class in them films) Desperately Seeking Susan was probably me fav chick flick of the 80's only appreciated it when a reached 13/14 for no other reason than I loved Rosanna Arquette, and Best British film probably My Left Foot.
