Happy Face 29
I dont even know why this season's good start even has to be even related to the board. No one likes him that much but its clearly Pardew's work. I agree. We should have an amnesty on mentioning the board for a week for any reason. There's literally not one thing we can say about the board that hasn't been said. I've not mentioned him in almost a fortnight already. Still get accused of having an agenda Edited October 5, 2011 by Happy Face

Id agree that totally, should we get to the end of the season and have a higher league position than last season and I'll also agree that the boards policy on transfers would appear to be working. If we do its more than likely down to luck but what the hell, you get luck both good and bad in every aspect of this game and to put it down to good luck would just as equally mean we put down a lower position as bad luck. Imagine what sort of a team we could have if they gave Graham Carr some proper money to work with.
Guest alex
Perhaps we draw up a list of approved words and run them past certain people to be rubber stamped.
LeazesMag 0
well things certainly haven't got better in terms of leazesmag's posts. This is the thing though. If you can't be allowed to enjoy a good run then this place has truly lost the plot. But you express any pleasure at a sequence of good results and he's foaming to either a) misrepresent what you've just said as Pro-Ashley propaganda, claiming we're on course for a CL place, or desperately trying to goad you into a thinly veiled Ashley/Shepherd 'ambition' debate. Sad for the forum to be honest and could hardly be less appropriate either because almost every post expressing happiness has a massively studied air about it in the sense that people are at great pains to say they don't think 4th place now will mean 4th place in May. I'm only asking you a few questions, concerning your opinions on how you think the club may do in the future with the current policies and set up, in light of the start they have made, you pathetic idiot. As usual, you do nothing but babble on instead. Edited October 5, 2011 by LeazesMag
ChezGiven 0
Perhaps we draw up a list of approved words and run them past certain people to be rubber stamped. Sounds sensible, we could appoint one person to go out and identify the words, someone else to select from the list which ones they want and then the most hated person on the forum has to try and get them over the line. manc-mag 1
No one is kidded by it though. Virtually everyone thinks we've made a good start but won't sustain our top four place. Dr Gloom is the last person who you'd call a fan of Ashley (sorry Stevie). You pretty much acknowledge that by calling him out for moaning about him all the time. Fair enough Alex. But I didn't hear anybody calling for bans when the vast majority were moaning on when we actually had a good team etc though ? We actually have something to moan about these days. There are people who are blinded by these few results, and I think those questions I've asked are fairly reasonable too tbh. 'Moaning on' is one thing, moaning on incessantly for five years at any given opportunity when the topic of conversation is entirely unrelated is something else altogether. That's what people are getting at in case it needed pointing out. It really shouldn't need pointing out though.

Can I ask you again if you could answer what I have asked you ? Or does it need "pointing out" again that you are avoiding actually giving an opinion, in view of the start we have made, instead of babbling on about nothing, and attempting to show your superiority complex as usual ? You shouldn't expect me to repeat them for your benefit though given your track record of just making things up. This is old ground. Try and listen to what people are saying to you in this thread. Try and answer direct questions, instead of avoiding the main issue, which is what I have asked you. Just "pointing it out" again. Sorry like, but I didn't "make up" the vastly superior league positions this football club finished in before ownership changed hands. I don't see your replies, I only see babbling nonsense tbh. acrossthepond 878
If we're nominating, I nominate 'Bafra.' 'Barfa' is odious enough, but 'Bafra' bears no resemblance to the lad's name and anyone who uses it should be made unable to see anyone's posts but Fop's. They'd wander this board alone, surrounded by madness, wondering if they are the last beacon of sanity in the Newcastle-supporting world.
