Christmas Tree 4725
I used to love watching golf years ago but just never seem to get the time these days. Used to love watching Faldo.
Park Life 71
I love the Ryder Cup like. Love it. The whispered commentry, the Yank bashing (subtle)...The pristine courses.
Alex 35079
Love it. The whispered commentry, the Yank bashing (subtle)...The pristine courses. I quite like golf anyway but it's a bit like tennis where the Majors are far more interesting with that much more riding on them (in terms of prestige, history and so on anyway). The Ryder Cup just takes it up to another level. The matchplay format and the fourballs / foursomes is part of that too. Not to mention the possibility of beating the septics. I quite fancy them though, surely they're due a win.

The Fish 10857
Don't mind watch the golf when I'm hungover; right amount of ambient/background noise mixed with highlights.

ewerk 30609
Justin Rose in cracking form this morning. Before the tournament it was a toss up between him and Poulter as to who I backed to be top point scorer, you can guess which one I chose

Park Life 71
Americans gracious in defeat. The fat fuck Mickleson laying into his captain was as ungracious as you can go...They win the Presidents Cup because the other team only have 3 players in the world top 20...Nothing to do with organisation or pep talks. ewerk 30609
TBF Watson didn't come across as the sort of guy to inspire any sort of fight and Mickleson was justifiably pissed off at having been dropped on Saturday. Still it's the sort of thing that shouldn't be aired in public. It looked like McGinley had taken the role much more seriously and done everything he possibly could over the last two years in preparation for the weekend. As usual the Europeans looked like much more of a team than the Americans which is slightly strange given that none of us really bind together as Europeans whereas the merkins are inevitably intensely proud of where they're from. They make too much money on the American tour and with all the sponsorships I think they lose a litte bit of edge, so when it comes down to a street fight they ultimately bottle it...You never talk about your captain like that in public whatever the percieved failings...Shameful shit. PaddockLad 17257
Watson was equally ungracious in saying that some of his team were out of shape and weren't physically capable of potentially playing 72 holes in 3 days, so Mickelson was just getting his own back after being dropped on Saturday afternoon. Fat Phil also mentioned that they should've done things like the last US winning captain, Paul Azinger, who's main advantage as far as I can make out was having the good fortune of having renowned charisma free zone Nick Faldo as his opposite number. Faldo who had annihilated Sergio Garcia recently for his attitude during that tournament. Keep it all in the team room chaps, and be a reasonable human being. There. That's not too difficult is it?...

ewerk 30609
Absolutely, fully deserved, didn't show any signs of cracking. You have to feel for Mickelson, finishing on -17 and still being beaten into second.

Holden McGroin 6583
Stenson was on fire. A steel nerve. He won it on the 16th with that monster putt. Mickelson knew it then.
