Emmerdale star Tom Lister opens new Watford Poundland Shoppers in Watford got a chance to meet Emmerdale star Tom Lister at the weekend when he came to the town to open a new pound shop. The 33-year-old actor who plays Carl King in the soap opened the doors to the new Pounland, on High Street, on Saturday. He stayed after the unveiling to sign autographs for fans. The opening of the new store sees the creation of 10 new jobs in the town centre. David Coxon, Trading Director at Poundland, said: “We are delighted to see that the shoppers of Watford continue to welcome us to the community.” Source: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/news/9261...d_by_soap_star/
