Not a great deal of difference, but if you're going to take anything from it, you'd have to say they recognised our weakness on the right and tried to expose it more during the game, despite having set up initially to try and expose Rtaylor with their best player on the right..

Exactly. tbh it was obvious that saggy face initially targeted Raylor as our week link by playing Bale on their right and Modric who constantly moves infield on their left but when he changed it after Bale was getting no joy, he exposed our weak right side.

I also wonder if Rednapp knew that Squidward starts strong and fades to obscurity in the 2nd half and therefore planned the change of attack when reverting to a 4-4-2?

The original point was that the entire right side of the team is shit and is being carried.

Here's a stat - neither goal in this match came from weak defending down the right. Colo, Cabaye, Saylor and Raylor all to blame this week. The point is, are our other players so lush that we can afford to have 2 utterly shit players down the right and carry them each match?

Doesnt sound like logic or the stats this week back that up. (Wolves's goal and disalllowed one were both of them for balance). They are the weakest of our players, that is all.

In the 10 minutes Marveaux was on the pitch, he contributed more to the team than squidward has in the last four games.

It's a worry Pardew either doesn't see it, is persisting with him because he signed him or as chez alluded to, there is something in squidward's contract about being first 11.

Regardless Marveaux has earned his chance to start the next league game.
