As Tim Vickery points out his 145 caps (incredible playing for a country as strong as his) could've been more since he was left out of the squads for each of the last two World Cups. I know he undermined maradona, but maradona is fucking nuts and not a capable manager yet. I mean, fucking Jonas at fullback? They left Cambiasso and Zanetti, two international class defensive players, it just beggars belief. I think they could have won it that year with a good manager.
