Besty 4
Lyon bought him for €15m. Saw this too about a failed medical at Milan: Cissokho underwent his medical on 16 June, but the very next day it was revealed that he had failed it due to a problem with his teeth that could indicate potential spinal problems, and that the move was in jeopardy of collapse. Kitman 2207
Sounds like our offer is a million miles away from their valuation basically. At least we've made an offer, which is an essential part of any negotiation. The question is whether this is posturing on Lyon's part or we're not credible bidders. Phil 6
nope dont look like it now hes rejected it saying the bid was to low To be fair making a low offer to the club is one of better initial approaches. We are desperate, so hopefully it'll be followed up.

OTF 7496
Just shows that Ashley is a complete and utter chancer. On the one hand I'm sure they're telling PSV that they can't afford to go over 5M for Pieters then on the other they're offering more than that for another left back. Everything has to have an element of a bargain about it. Pathetic. It's obvious as well that if the at best opportunistic at worst derisory moves don't come off in positions that we NEED to strengthen they'll take the risk and go into the season seriously undermanned. All of the players that have come in of late have been opportunistic signings regardless of positions required. If they get too many players in certain positions, then great, it means that they get to move on other players, no matter how important they are to the team, making a quick buck and getting higher wages off the books. In the case of Barton they've taken a massive bath. He was their first move in the player market and had a catastrophic 2 1/2 years. When he has finally started to come good they've completely bottled it, and annoyed an obviously volatile character not afraid to tell it how he sees it. Then to further compound their fuck up they've gone and let him leave for nothing. Just brilliant. Showing how exactly to get the worst possible value out of a purchase. He was a known entity when he came here, it was a given that he'd need to be treated differently to others. If they weren't prepared for that (and we all know that preparation is something that they have no idea about) then they shouldn't have bought him in the first place. LoveTheBobby 1
Theoretically, could any of us clowns "make an offer for a player" ? I could email a contractual offer to the potential selling club saying "we hereby write to confirm our promise to pay the selling club *the steam off our fucking shit* for player X" The only difference between their and my offer being credible is that mine mightn't make it into the public domain given I haven't got the resources and contacts to make it so by employing media consultants . snakehips 0
I can't help get the feeling LardAsh is trying to play one club against the other i.e. attempting to frighten them both so one club will eventually fold due to the pressure of missing out on a decent sale. Problem is, the fat fuck doesn't realise that neither team want to sell, so will quite happily continue to tell him to 'do one' (in their own respective languages of course) until the window has shut. 23:30 on the last day of the transfer window: NUFC contact Citeh (best supported club in the history of football. Fact) about getting Bridge on loan. Citeh, due to the lack of time, know the desparate position NUFC are in, now have the fat man by the plums and tell him 'Okay, but you'll have to stump up most of his exhorbitant salary.' We know what LardAsh will say to that!!
