that bundle box site looks good for importing usa stuff all you do is i think you fill out your real address to register then they email you a usa address you then use that address on sites like amazon.com or best buy

Yes and you pay for that. And you still pay the VAT and customs duty.

no they say they pay the income tax if you read the faqs section i think

BundleBox delivers on a duty pre-paid basis (Duty Delivery Paid or DDP shipping) to the following countries. This means that when you book your delivery shipment, you can pay any import taxes due. BundleBox will then pay these taxes for you to the relevant Customs agency. This ensures a smooth clearance and delivery process. The countries for which we offer an import duty prepaid delivery service are:

- Austria

- Belgium

- Czech Republic

- Denmark

- Finland

- France

- Germany

- Ireland

- Italy

- Luxembourg

- Netherlands

- Norway

- Spain

- Sweden

- United Kingdom

lol :razz::nufc::icon_lol: pinball machines haha

You would love a go on my pinball machine Deadman so dont deny it

I don't give much thought to the EU when I'm buying things tbh. I dont know many who do. Ill get it the cheapest way I can, if that means importing it and marking it as a gift then so be it. I put more than my fair share of work and money into this country so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

You pay it to them first though. You do understand that element of it don't you because it's fairly important given what we're discussing here?

I'm not disputing that, I'm saying that you wouldn't have a job to do if everyone adopted your approach. Your job relies on people paying taxes, it's not something you can go out and do entrepreneurially, you rely on the government you berate to provide your work for you.

And by 'more than your fair share', I'd hope you really just meant 'your fair share'.

Fuck it mate, I genuinely can't explain it any more clearly than I have. I strongly urge you to go to the nearest shop.

No I meant more than. My pinball hobby costs a fortune, the government makes a fortune out of the VAT I pay compared to someone whose hobby is playing the mouthorgan

Stick a wink on the end of that man, just for me

 J69 coming out of this very badly. Strange that he is so sanctimonious about some things and admits he is a tax evader (ie thief) without a trace of irony.

Badly for who? I couldnt give a flying fuck what people think about my tax dodging habits

20% of everything I make is paid as tax and that's before I pay road tax, council tax and fuck knows what else.

I suppose you and Manc Mag pay tax on all your DVDs and CDs you buy and never ever download.

Basically, if you don't factor tax in and see it as a fair fiddle, who gets hurt? The UK based retailer is at a disadvantage (the guy you're comparing the online prices to) because they have no choice but to apply the tax. So they lose the trade. So they lose jobs. So there's less tax for public services. But obviously you can just ignore all that and expect your wages to materialise out of thin air.

I don't say that you're the only person that does it, but I think your attitude is typical of many people in that cosseted public sector mindset, who in many ways should be the ones who know better.

We all pay taxes ffs, what makes you so special? You genuinely believe do more than you fair share of work? Bollocks.

Ftr, I don't evade taxes, make illegal downloads, or shoplift for that matter. Partly because as mancmag says I can see the connection with taxes and my salary. But mainly because I'm not a thief.

About 75% of his output on here reeks of "I'm better than you" in one way or another like.

Fuckers at Parcel Force can also charge you ad "admin fee" for sending it to the HMRC which further erodes saving.

I bought a KVM switch a couple of years ago from Taiwan and as others have said, at the end of day all the saving was wiped out.

ww2-veterans_1295480c.jpg

From left to right: Sgt. James Pepton, Col. E. Buygum, Col. Paul Wyn

These three men pictured above are WW2 veterans, men who fought bravely to protect this country from the evils of fascism; they risked their lives to protect this liberal democracy we live in, a country that could not function if people evaded their taxes (something which these men have never been guilty of). Do you think these men risked their lives to save some sanctimonious pinball-prick tax dodger? I think not, and I am appalled that anyone would have, quite frankly, the gall to belittle the efforts of these proud men with such callous illegal behaviour. J69, you should be ashamed of yourself.
