they seem incapable of actually following the rules when it comes to transfers. constantly trying to be sly fuckers but then getting found out.

You only have to look at Dekker's face to know what sort of man he is. There's an "I'm going to fuck you up the arse and steal all your money the minute your back's turned" look about him.

Pretty obvious what's going on here.

Club willingly tap up player.

Club anticipate Sochaux filing a complaint.

FIFA/UEFA will probably ban us from transfers for a year or so.

Gives our lot the perfect excuse to get away with not bringing anyone else in.

Genius!

Smacks of the situation we had this time last year with Ben Arfa doesn't it?

What is it with our constant interest in all things French too?

Because you get to buy very good players for a decent price in the french league unlike in the overpriced premiership. Maiga has really put us in the sh*t as he refused to play at the last minute against caen and we now only have one fit striker, not ideal especially before a crucial european tie. I dont think he will leave now though and to he honest do you really want a player with this mentality at your club ? he did really well for us last season BUT he was helped by Marvin Martin who had the top number of assists in the french league last season and also by his partnership with ideye brown (30 goals between them) who has now gone to d kiev for 9 millions euros. i m sure maiga could do a job for you but he is NO drogba as i have read somewhere on your forum and i dont think he could be relied on if the newcastle ship would start to sink. good luck for your season, ive been to st james one, great stadium and i LOVE the local brew newkie brown, much better than kronenbourg !

Better than our apparent other options of Carlton Cole and Marvin Emnes (according to the Chronicle)

Carlton Cole's name keeps popping up like. Hope it's a case of 2+2=5.

I still expect us to buy him like. In fact, I'd be surprised if we didn't. Wow, then we'd have the profilic strike partnership that got relegated last year..
