Gene_Clark 12
Don't tell me - he's Irish, right? He was one of the 20th century's most prominent dramatists; I just think the quotation was apposite considering the situation at Newcastle United. Many people use quotations from poems, plays or song lyrics, sometimes unwittingly, to illustrate and illuminate a particular situation; I just used this one. Gene_Clark 12
To be fair to the lad, I've never heard of him. Well not everyone's had as much of a classical education as I have, obviously enough. I like to think I can bring a bit of culture to the board. Being one of the advanced section of NUFC support (I don't go to the games for a start), I've obviously been selected to act as one of the vanguard to represent you all, which is why I'm going to the Monday meeting on your behalf. I prefer Dashiell Hammett to Ellroy fwiw.

Rosy Crucifixion is fabulous stuff, but for the real hilarious Miller in extremis "Opus Pistorum" can't be beaten. If you can find the bio "My Friend Henry Miller" by Alfred Pearles that's a hoot as well.

Canny tedious after you realise 50 pages in he's just going to keep going on about prossies pissing in his bidet. I prefer Anais Nin (who fucked him for a while) if we're talking high brow filth. No. If we're talking about my universal self: I have axially and scalarly aligned myself to a deep level of the dance over large scale human time on that one.
