I wonder why we give Shola a 2 year extension taking him to 32 when we cant give Barton a 3 year contract which would take him to 31? Hmmmmmmm

I imagine his wages are significantly lower.

Aye but he's significantly shitter and doesnt warrant a contract and indicates the club's lacking ambition when theyre signing up Ameobi to contracts ahead of our player of the season

So let's get rid of him for nothing and then not replace him - that'll teach him!

Yeah, just cut out all the details in which when at the time come to think of it, most people would have thought "Hold on, where is this club wanting to go" Like selling Carroll after insisting he wouldnt have been sold, a player in which we could have built the team around in years to come and become a Toon legend and then getting no replacement in at all

And then when after getting voted player of the season and being a standout player, and the club insisting the money would be invested, both parties sat down and then he got told no contract was forthcoming, and then in the following following main players getting sold and going to be sold and no sign of re-investment, he slagged the board off, which he was basically telling the truth, but in hindsight shouldnt have done it

Some perspective if its not too much trouble.

He's complimented Robbie Savage on his hair who retorted that Barton looked like Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver, thought he was about to go HAM on Brian Woolnough (sp?) on Sunday Supplement but he stopped short.

He's griefed Steven Taylor over what he "see's" on the pitch

"Tayls seemed to see something that wasn't really there. Said he had knocked my teeth out or something, but that's just classic Tayls."

On Steven Taylor's reaction to the hit.
