Guest alex
I doubt Whitley bay fits into Stevie's ''local support'' bracket like. 8 miles out of the city centre is a massive 'commute' like About the same distance as Chester-Le-Street give or take a couple of miles. The best rule of thumb is can you get to the city centre without going through countryside. Not sure about that like. South Tyneside would fit that criteria

Howmanheyman 33851
Quite happy about this tbh. having seen the state of th skiprats causing the bother at darlo first hand. The people causing the bother definetly werent season ticket holders. If this stop another darlo ill be more than happy. Surely the only people who care would be non season ticket holders who hardly ever go to the games anyway How will it do that? cos they looked like tramps with nee money. Call it selfish but Ive got a season ticket with 164 loyalty points so i couldnt really careless about people who refuse to sign up for membership or get a season ticket. I find that attitude a bit, how say? cuntish? One: any excuse to get more money from the supporters taking advantage of a few pissed up bairns. Typical of these bastards. Two: I'm now a non-season ticket holder as Ive been evicted and don't fancy being stuck in the same seat all year if its shit. You trying to tell me I hardly go to games? For what its worth you can trace the shit atmosphere back to when people rolled up to Fletcher and Hall's shop with their wallets open and a 'fuck you' attitude to anyone who couldn't get a ST. Didn't miss a match? FUCK YOU! Went to Bournemouth etc in the 2nd division? FUCK YOU! The away days were once a piece of piss to get to if you fancied it, many an away was decided on a friday night full of drink and then laughing as you knocked another hungover kid out of bed early on a saturday. Guess what? NONE OF US WERE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS!!! When that prick Mellor took over from Danny Kelly, the amount of arseholes who would start their conversation off with 'I'M A SEASON TICKET HOLDER' was unreal. You're a SEASON TICKET HOLDER, eh? Wow wee! Go on then, lets see you hold it for us! Wave it about and shake yo ass while you're doing it. Jesus fucking Christ.

StoneColdStephenIreland 74
I dont think you get it, its not the £20 price of a membership, it's the principle of it all, that they're willing to punish the average away supporter for trouble which was caused by a minority (Something that Llambias actually said) of fans. And the fact that they pissed all over fans last year by removing the Leazes Corner all because of anti-Ashley chants FFS Its the contempt that theyre holding towards the fans thats the most annoying and the want to make a few extra quid of f*cking over the fans too

Who's to say he won't find a new seat he loves only to find it being removed for a personal pukka pie stand for our corpulent owner. I'd personally rather pay for every game than be a Season Ticket holder. But then again I don't go to enough games for you to care about my opinion, i'm not a Season Ticket holder so I should just stfu and let the top boy superfans discuss who saw the most corners last year. This has clearly been done because it'll generate money, and the Darlo bother has created the excuse they needed to do it. Simple as that. I wouldn't put it past them to have done this at one point or another anyway. This isnt right, basically theyve punished the non members due to what they assume is trouble caused by people who are not members. Aye its not fair for the majority but thats how it goes. As for ST holders theres nee difference other than you know if your a ST holder you could be traced

Can you seriously not see that and, therefore, not see the reasons for the criticism of this move? I see it like this. I can accept peoples views and being pissed off about it. My point is tho, It would hopefully make people accountable for their actions at the match (to a greater degree than now) It is only £20 or something which over the course of the season is nowt if you go to a few games. Alternatively they could have as previously mentioned opened a new database when selling tickets and taken peoples details and logged them that way. But that wudnt make them any money. Dont suppose theyre arsed really as they make nothing on away tickets and by doing it this way they make a few quid. If it does prevent more nobheads causing bother its probably a decent thing in the long run as the other nite did tarnish our fans reputation even though people know it was a minority causing the bother
