snakehips 0
Stolen from .com: Souness on our CB: "Jean-Alain has had problems off the pitch. His little lad has had several operations and his wife has been seriously ill. "Jean-Alain has had a great deal to put up with. "People don't realise how much it affects him but he has got on with his game. "I work with him every day and I can see his character. "He is the first one to hold up his hand if he makes a mistake. He is still new and getting used to English football. "He has been in our football nearly a year and I'm very happy with him." End quote. Now I, like all of you, wish him and his family well. However, he's new and just getting used to the English game yet he's been here almost a year!!!! I think he can turn the bad performances around and become a good CB but how fuckin' long does it take to get used to the English game??? More excuses from our manager I'm afraid; get the book out and add this to the list! Edited December 18, 2005 by snakehips
maggiespaws 0
I agree a year is long enough to get used to the premiership, however, I reckon JAB has a fair excuse. It's an obvious distraction.
