Nile Ranger might go to Prison

Recommended Posts

Managers should know this before they buy these players

Smith - dribbles himself instead of others, always comes too late gets yellow cards + would want an abysmal wage for it

Lovenkrands - can't touch the ball, doesn't seem to like a football anymore

Ranger= can't score, gangsta bros before your team.

Or more succinctly

Smith - old and shit

Lovenkrands - old and shit

Ranger - gangsta and shit

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...nk-driving.html

Premier League footballer Nile Ranger has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, according to sources. The 20-year-old Newcastle striker was bailed pending the results of a blood test after he was stopped by police. A fortnight ago the London-born player was arrested on suspicion of assault after a 33-year-old was found unconscious outside a pub in Newcastle city centre. He was bailed later.

Ranger has been linked to a number of clubs after falling out of favour with Newcastle bosses. In May he issued an apology after he was photographed striking a gangster pose with a replica handgun.

On Friday he posted pictures of his black and white customised Range Rover on his Twitter account.

It features the word "Ranger" on the bonnet in official Range Rover lettering.

----------------------------

"Good evening sir"

"Yo pig, wassup? Is you jealous of ma wheels, they right gangstar innit? Braaaaaapppp!"

"I have reason to believe you have been drinking, sir. Please blow into this bag....."

Newcastle striker Ranger convicted of assault on two police officers after night out

By SPORTSMAIL REPORTER

Conviction: Nile Ranger arrived at Newcastle Crown Court on Monday wearing trainers

Newcastle striker Nile Ranger has been convicted of two counts of assault by beating against two police officers.

But he was cleared of two counts of actual bodily harm on two members of the public.

Ranger, 21, turned up at Newcastle Crown Courton Monday wearing trainers with his black suit.

He was on a night out in Newcastle city centre with his cousin on August 27 last year.

At about 2am he was approached by a group of white males and a confrontation ensued which resulted in Ranger punching two of them.

But the court heard that the footballer had been the victim of racial taunts and that his actions were in self-defence.

He fled the scene but, when police tried to detain him, he twice pushed them away, causing minor injuries.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £750 to each officer.

The court heard that the charges of actual bodily harm were dropped because, on review of the CCTV footage, Ranger was shown to have been acting in self-defence.

After enhancing the images, the footage showed that one of the males attempted to hit the player first.

Judge John Evans said: 'The picture that the court is presented with is very different to that which was first contemplated.

'The prosecution have had the opportunity of considering the CCTV footage and it shows a different picture to what was first understood.

'I cannot know what happened that night, only those involved know that. After the confrontation, you delivered two pushes to the police officers, who suffered limited injuries.

'It has been going on now for a year and I accept during that time you will have attracted quite a deal of publicity that may well have impacted your life.'

The judge said that, provided Ranger stayed out of trouble for the next 12 months, he would hear no more of it.

Ranger has been frozen out of the first-team picture at Newcastle, who are keen to offload him.

He's an idiot but this story stinks of coppers being bastards. "Pushed them causing minor injuries" - fuck off.

Also they prosecuted him for punching the blokes then on the day of the hearing the magistrate watches the CCTV and says "hang on....." - I know thats the CPS but still.

Minor injuries notwithstanding you've got to be simple as fuck to shove two police officers while they're arresting you.

Has received a final written warning from the club due to continued lateness to training.

Just read he has another 4 years on his contract...absolutely ridiculous this utter prick has been sitting on a footballer's wages when he's given fuck all back to the club. What a shocking wastrel and poor role model he is.

It wouldn't surprise me if the club have someone on the gates clocking him in every morning. They must be looking for any reason at all to get rid of him.

He's a naive kid but already they are making a film about his life up to now.

It's called the Green Nile.

I heard they were doing a biopic of you: Raging Bull.
