Dr Gloom 22129
There's something for everybody at glasto like. Last time I went a few years back i hardly spent any time at any of the main stages at all. Just wandered around off my tits at the fringes of the festival and getting mashed in the green fields talking knackers around a fire or having a dance at some of the smaller sound systems. Dr Gloom 22129
Wouldn't fancy it these days admittedly. Especially with the rain. Pass the pipe and slippers basically

Fuck that shit! oh fo sho I look at the Glastonbury line-up and am completely unmoved by it. Beyonce? What is this? T4 on the Beach? Headliners for Glastonbury should be Classic rock/stadium acts and modern acts of the same ilk. Led Zeppelin and Muse. The Who and Radio Head. etc. Beyonce, Coldplay and U2? give me a fucking break. Guest alex
Camping is great if you're not surrounded by 10,000 radged up thieving gypos and perpetual cacophony Aye, I don't mind it per se, but (apart from what you say) if you're 'largin' it' as Pete Tong would say you want a comfortable place to relax afterwards. Btw, I used to know a couple of lads (Scousers ) who went nearly every year and used to jump the fence and steal the first decent tent they spied then put it up on the other side of the site. They might've been lying but I wouldn't put it past them either.

Id also like to see Metronomy (who are on soon I believe)

The others are on the same planet but not to my particular taste.
ChezGiven 0
There is no way i would countenance going and camping in the main fields. There are loads of private campsites run by companies, costs a canny bit but its decent. http://www.campkerala.com/ http://www.theyurtcompany.moonfruit.com/#/...lery/4541030154 I've used MyHab and the Podpads before, you get a wooden hut that sleeps 4 with electricity, hot private showers, clean toilets and free drinks etc.

Toonraider 0
I love some Muse songs, they're obviously very talented and a local band But...Matt Bellamy does not have Bono's voice. In fact Matt Bellamy's deep breathes annoy me after a while. Whereas Bono's voice carries so much emotion, its beautiful. I could listen to him singing 'Tomorrow' for ever!!! The Fish 10962
Muse are a shit wannabe Radiohead have you heard either band? I remember Jo Wiley saying the same thing whenMuse first came out, but they're nothing alike imo. Muse are modern stadium rock with big riffs and beats designed to please the crowd, Radiohead don't give me the impression they do their music for the crowd. It feels like they'll release what they like and if other people like, so be it.
Guest alex
Quite like U2. Not bought any of their stuff for getting on 20 years like. So I like their old stuff I suppose. Put on a good live show too. Or they did. What is it Viz call Bono btw? The little twat with the big heart Or something like that.
LoveTheBobby 1
There's meant to be some 'visual stunt' disruption planned against U2 planned relative to them not paying tax. For entetainment, hopefully it'll be a stage invasion by some hardcore stenchcore swampy type, but think it's along lines of an organised banner / mosaic do-da . Be interesting to see how auntie beeb edit it out anyway
Kevin 1
It's to allow the land to recover.. I'm going to Glasgowbury 23rd july, not the same, but you get the idea. Where's that held mate ? Draperstown, Norn Iron. 3 day weekend festival, local bands but with the same festival feel, only £40 aswell. Avatar just for you glasgowbury will be a fair bit different for you than your oxegen experience, been to it a few times, lineup for it this year is a bit poor though the Answer will be good to see though make sure ya catch them, they toured with ac/dc recently. It's more chilled out than oxegen, seems to have more of an indie crowd rather than the louts at oxegen.
