Guest CabayeAye
He's playing well, he knows he's backup, he isn't costing much. Round peg for a round hole if you ask me.
Papa Lazaru 0
Always thought he was a canny footballer, hence why Keegan went for him, but in the prem he looked like he needed way too much time on the ball and physically was going to be knocked around by everyone with ease. If whatever Pardew and his coaches have done with Guthrie has sorted him out a bit in terms of strength and physicality and he can maintain it, then i don't think he's bad back up like Dr Gloom said. OTF 7788
Can make a pass and hit a shot. Has improved his mobility of late, as to whether that's to do with being off-contract soon remains to be seen. Like others I don't have an issue with this move. Good time to get it done while he's performing in the first team. With all players fit he's obviously on the bench.
nortoon 0
He's not an awful squaddie if he can keep his current level. As he's on tiny wages I dont mind us keeping him and spend money on other parts of the team.
Gejon 2
His recent performances have changed my opinion, decent back up and doubt he will be on a massive wage.
Holden McGroin 6922
He has always been a 'footballer'. Just lacked a yard of pace and a bit of strength.
Lake Bells tits 1
Doubtful as to whether we can find better players on a similar wage willing to benchwarm. Keeper.
StoneColdStephenIreland 74
Dont think you can really get a player who's better than Guthrie and is willing to benchwarm whilst waiting for a chance and he's proven he can do reasonably well, this season and last. when needed as a replacement for a few games.
