The Fish 11333
Need a good recommendation that meets various (and sometimes contradictory) requirements; 1. Got to be pretty close to Seaton Sluice (15-20 minute drive max) 2. Got to have a menu that is both good quality, without being too "artsy fartsy" 3. Got to be able to have tables where a couple of bigger people can comfortably sit. 4. Not a fish restaurant. If you can argue amongst yourselves until there's a top 5 to choose from, that'd be great. Omni at Monkseaton is nice. No idea what the drive is from Seaton Sluice but must be near enough.

Lots of nice places in Tynemouth and Whitley Bay. Pranzo’s maybe?

Gemmill 51041
Aye Beehive is a good shout. They're often quite well booked up though (at least they are for Sunday lunch) so get a booking in.

We've been guilted into spending time up north for the Festive Gooch and there's no way I'm leaving the planning to them lot, no FUCKING way. Booked a cottage near Alnwick we can stay in, sorting somewhere we can go for food, and looking at stuff that my kids will enjoy too.

Oh it's a bit of a brutal trek, must be all of 5 minutes, fuck me 😂😂😂😂 P.S. despite Jay Rayner giving it a tremendous review, Omni was distictly meh when visited by the OCBC (old cunts breakfast/lunch club)
