I remember reading that he's a poor trainer, turning up late and not prepared to put in extra to improve his skills. It's probably that more than anything which has done for him, he should be working every hour that god sends to force his way into the first team. Instead he's posing for pictures looking like a tit. It annoys me that he probably doesn't realize how lucky he is and by the sound of it won't put the effort in to make the most of his talent. How do you think he could've been handled better? Sounds like Nolan offered to help him and pardew gave him a few second chances. But ranger was too conceited or thick to put the effort in, is my impression. He's not an out and out striker is he. Him or Ben Arfa behind Ba, Shola or Best.
