If he goes he's done a canny job of pulling the wool over Pardew's eyes with his "We pay Demba in smiles and cuddles, he's not motivated by money" patter. I don't know if playing on the left did him in or the african cup but he was pretty much rubbish. If pardew sees him in the same position then he might be better off going.
