People who take 5-a-side way to seriously!

I've always been good at winding up the opposition believe it or not :D A couple of hard challenges from me and a few choice words out of earshot of the ref usually results in someone coming flying in like a loon to 'do me'. Resulted in 3 or 4 reds for opposition teams last season. Also resulted in me missing 3 months with torn ankle ligaments from a tackle by a lad that, funnily enough, works behind the bar in the club I play for

Ok so I just e-mailed the venue with the following (not sure how serious they'll take it seeing as I was the one sent off for violent conduct):

We played a team last night in our division 3 match and would like to put in a complaint about their behaviour.

On several occasions one of their players punched on of our team in the back (off the ball) when the referee wasn’t looking, he also elbowed another member of our team in the back (off the ball) when the referee was again looking elsewhere. These incidents were deliberate acts of violence.

They also spent the majority of the game making no attempt to play the ball when going in for tackles. This culminated in 2 of them diving in from either side of one of our players with no intention other than to injure him.

Their behaviour was not what I would expect from a team playing in a 5-a-side league at your establishment, and I’m sure that you would agree punching/elbowing people off the ball, and trying to deliberately injure someone isn’t acceptable in the slightest!

Unfortunately the referee missed the off the ball incidents and therefore was unable to act upon them. I ask that you inform referees to be aware of this team’s behaviour so that other teams are not subjected to this and referees can stop incidents like this escalating and turning matches in to a complete farce (as was the case last night)

This team had no intention of playing the game, and I am certain you will have further problems with their behaviour in the future.

I have spoken to my team and they have all agreed that if we face this team again and they demonstrate the same behaviour we will withdraw from the league.

 Fuck me mate, e mailing the venue cos they gave you a bit of stick!? Could you not just give some back?

Haha I did and got sent off :D

Thats why I put a complaint in as I dont wanna get a lenghty ban for something that wasn't really my fault... Well it was my fault as I shouldnt have reacted, but I was serverly provoked.

So what you're saying is it takes very little for people to come to the conclusion that you're a prize cunt? Tell us something we don't already know.

I have had a struggle getting my book published, Five Per Side Memoirs.

It seems some people don't take 5 a side seriously enough.

I would imagine j69 to be the type of kid that kept his hard challenges for the showers by beating his opponent around the head with his incredibly large member.

And I'd expect you to be the sort of kid who couldn't kick a ball to save his life so hung around making gay and fanny jokes to try and fit in. Much like you are now tbh

Got told to calm down and stop diving all the time the other day at 5 a side... because a team full of men twice my size were taking me out. I go in for a fair tackle, get the ball and clip one accidentally, say sorry and the ref calls me over and has a word! Bullshit

What I'm noticing more and more from young uns coming into our 5-a-side league is cheating and timewasting. It's so bad it's actually gone from annoying to comical. It's the Sky generation who learnt stuff off the tele. I've always defended football when non-footballing fans have a rant about footballers being bad role models and saying that kids don't really copy them. However, when you see kids picking the ball up, jogging away with it, then dropping it behind their back like their in some sort of Champions League quarter final that argument falls flat. Cheating and poor sportsmanship is especially bad these days, stealing yards, timewasting (it's 5 a fucking side man!) and worst of all diving. It's got pretty pathetic amongst some of the younger lads now like.

And its the older "men" in their 30's, 40's etc who think they're some sort of 80's bad man smashing fouls all over the place. That's the old generation, and to be honest i'd take a bit of diving and timewasting over their dirty "tactics" anyday

Cleetoon blatantly a white football boot wearing ponce flinging himself about at the merest sniff of a tackle.

My boots are orange  but nonetheless, I've never been a diver, ponce or not :icon_lol:

Blackburn fans fucking hate Andrews(correct me if I'm wrong, Billy C.), he always does a job for us.

Yep, he is absolutely hated, as he is shit. I'd not be one of these, but there are a number that boo him whenever he plays. And to top it off he was signed by Paul Ince. He only plays OK/well for Ireland, but is usually dire for Blackburn.

As for the 5 a side, I've never played one, which is lucky as I think I'd be the Keith Andrews of the game. I have no stamina at all when I have to run, and the footballing skills of Steven Hawking. I would probably get red cards for sheer clumsiness when 'tackling' rather than any maliciousness.

;) Bite or no bite, what I said is true. You are a sad act

Theres only one sad cunt in this thread and thats you, billy no mates and a water drinking, grassing wanker to boot.

Every now and again you let your guard slip and show what an arrogant prick you really are. Its sad to think that one day you'll have children and bring them up the same, bitter, arrogant and miserable as fuck. The patients you treat will be better company than you, that I don't doubt.

You posted your wedding photos on the internet to share with people you don't know, what the fuck is wrong with you?.......if thats not a definition of sad I'm not really sure what is.

I'm not saying theirs not knackers with older players who kick out, I've seen that as well. We first started playing in mens 5-a-side leagies when we were 16 and did I feel the need to hoy myself around like a fanny and timewaste? No, because I'd look like a tit and I came to play football for a laugh and a run out. I've seen this stuff creep in slowly over the past few years and it's reached a stupid level now, far more stupid than a few mesatheads leaving their feet in.
