What these Ashley cock sucking wanks fail to realise is, he gets a perverse sense of satisfaction from winding the fans up. Dekka's "you don't know how narrrsty we can be" crack for me sums up their attitude. I'd go as far as saying anyone who is 100% behind Ashley and thinks the guy is amazing for this club, has their own agenda and strives for an alternative view.

This latest wind up on twitter from the club, it's fucking disgusting. I will say though, when you look at peoples attitudes and I'm not looking to create a divide, there's a difference in support from geordies to people aren't from Tyneside regarding Ashley.

You're definitely not trying to create a divide though, right?

You're an accountant, you deal in percentages. If you were to give my last sentence a percentage for being near the truth what would you give it.

Stevie encouraging non-Geordie hate crime here iyam. OOT's likely to experience a huge spate of hair ruffling as a result of this rhetoric.

Well it's true. Honest to god in my social circle and people who care, peripheral people, randoms you chat to, fucking everyone, I know one person who respects Ashley, believe he's a good bloke and has the best interests of the club foremost in his mind. He happens to be one of me best mates, we've had many heated discussions about it. You come on here, you'd think it was a 50/50 split, and it's never geordies supporting him on here neither, Ireland, Stoke, fucking Brighton, London, rarely Newcastle other than silly old cunts like toonpack. Geordies like transparency and straight talking people, Ashley is the complete opposite of both, that's my theory, of course I'm not on about ALL OOT's but just read the likes of here and N-O. Keegan is absolutely idolised on Tyneside, idolised, go anywhere else in the country and he's laughed at, and that's the way it was for some on N-O and here when he left in 2008, I think that sums it up.

If what you're saying is true, I suspect some of it is simply down to perspective.

For instance, I think Ashley is a cock, but I don't go to games anymore and therefore have much less of an investment in the goings on at the club, which alters my perspective on things - I think he's a cock, but I don't have to get worked up about it. The same will apply to some people who don't live in the region.

That contrasts with people that make regular visits to the ground, who have the less pleasant side of Ashley rubbed in their faces more. It contrasts further with those who have a less healthy obsession with the club, to the extent that stuff like this will be genuinely affecting their stress levels etc (not suggesting that's you, or having a dig btw).

Basically what i'm saying is that some people can afford to care a bit less about stuff like signs outside the ground (simply due to a lack of exposure to it), which has the effect of giving them a different perspective on other things. And I include myself in that, so that's not a digg at anyone.

Right then. Name the Ashley supporters on this board. You're worse than Leazes.
