Yep. Funny how the Arab bloke has ended up stepping down, yet Bladder whoisalso accused of letting the bribery take place at the very least is still a candidate. The old cunt has absolutely no shame, and will probably be voted in again.

Synopsis: Basically, Jack Warner, that wanker from Trinidad and Tobago has printed off an e-mail with that arab bloke stating that he bought the 2022 World Cup. Both Mohammed and Jack are suspended after these allegations, but Bladder has been cleared by FIFA, thus leaving him as the only candidate for President. If the FAs of the world had any credilibilty they would resign from FIFA after abstaining from voting.

That'll teach them to fuck with us. We've been on the case with US delegate since the failed bid and this is part of a concerted effort by us and our allies to pile the political pressure on. This all started with the Sunday times investigation and then snowballed when the US got involved too. They are on the case as their bid got nowhere either. Apparently the US are putting pressure on Coca-cola and us on adidas to create additional pressure on FIFA.

The Qatari's bought the world cup, Jack Warner is an abhorrent corrupt individual and Blatter is a turd. Despite Warner's accusations, this isn't a Blatter power play, the events are out of their control. Don't fuck with 'fair play' tbh. The contemptible cunts.

I think we should anyway, should've done as soon as Russia and Qatar got the WC. World football needs English football as much as English football needs world football.

Honestly, if the English FA and the Spanish FA decided to stick two fingers up at FIFA the whole fucking house of cards would come tumbling down.

The problem is that FIFA is not beholden to any other authority, whether it be private or government. No-one has the authority to step in and clear house except for FIFA itself. And for as long as FIFA is seen to be a rotten organisation, no-one will believe that they will become transparent and 'clean'. The corruption seems endemic.

The problem is, we seem to be stuck with this situation whether we like it or not. It's not like another organisation can be set up in its place.

I love the idea of the more powerful FAs stepping in and/or resigning, but I can't see that happening for fear that it would shut them out of any future international comps.

If England, Spain, Italy football associations take a stand, I think the others would swift follow suit. I just don't think that would happen.

It's a huge undertaking, and I don't think anyone of those organisations would put their hand up to get the ball rolling so to speak. No doubt the far reaching tendrils of FIFA extend deep into some of these FAs (or some of the people with these FAs) so there would be some that resist.

It's obvious, and has been for some time that some sort of shake up and reform is required. It would be great if someone deep within could reveal in detail the true undertakings, underhand deals, lavish wastes of money and the like that so patently underpin the foundation of the current FIFA regime. Were that to happen then there would be no choice but to excercise the change required. Sometimes you need something really bad to happen to start the process of rebuilding a-fresh. I don't know whether the Qatar debacle will be enough for that, though I wait in hope.

There has been little to no real coverage in Spain Italy or Germany on the whole thing. I think that says loads about what will end up happening.
