Dr Gloom 22168
Colo, Enrique, and Jonas for the most part have taken 3 seasons to adjust and start playing well. Barton has had his first good season for us ever. Nolan has had his first good season for us in the PL. (All of them may be sold depending on what you choose to believe. Personally I think the whole squad is for sale if bids come in.) Yet for some reason you seem to think losing all those players and bringing in unproven replacements who have never played PL football let alone had a chance to develop an understanding with their teammates, adjust to the style of football, or adjust to the culture of the UK, is a good thing. You're a fucking idiot. WUM or not. Personally I think not since this sort of shitty brainless banter is pretty much in line with everything else you contribute to this forum. Is N'Zogbia still playing left back for us next season you fucking retard? And pretty much nailed.

Although your thoughts seem somewhat spectacularly misguided, you offer a little light relief to an otherwise humdrum world As usual Snakey my assessment is usually pretty spot on. Some are just too far down the road of doom and gloom and think that bright shining light they see is the end of the world when in fact it is really the light at the end of the tunnel. OTF 7492
I read this thread and laughed. There's only a shred of truth in the initial post and it's nothing to do with the inferences made. CT you're obviously now just fishing for reactions as you even take the piss out of yourself on occasions showing that you're not at all sincere. You obviously enjoy attempting to put yourself in the TT limelight. The fact that this is a Newcastle United forum has very little to do with your participation here, instead it's your vehicle for your attention grabbing. That's what I think anyway. Don't care to discuss otherwise because that would just be contributing to the problem (even more than I already am).
Christmas Tree 4835
I can never quite understand why this forum has so many gloomy people compared to other forums. On other Newcastle forums the glooms seem to have a majority of 60% however on here its more like 90% . Is this why Toontastic originally split from another Forum? Were all the glooms packed up and shipped off to a faraway destination like when the criminals used to get sent to Oz. Fear not though, this only makes my missionary work all the more important and I shall be redoubling my efforts.

NO was created by joined a couple of forums together, the idea to make one big forum. But, never really worked out as all the forums had their own ID's and poster styles clashed. This TT then split back off to become solo again. I tend to find this forum is full of generally older heads with a more balanced look. Other forums imo are a bit blinkered. Christmas Tree 4835
THIS time next year, Alan Pardew hopes to have “inspired” owner Mike Ashley to fund a push for the top four. The stark reality of Newcastle’s current situation is that they are a million miles away from returning to the Champions League, with nothing like the funds of a Manchester City. Instead of following the lead of Roman Abramovich and Sheikh Mansour, United are ploughing a prudent furrow and looking for the club to support itself. But billionaire Ashley is the sixth richest owner in the top flight, and the fact remains he does have the cash to make United big players again – if he could be persuaded to be a benevolent benefactor. Pardew admits there is no chance of that unless Newcastle are seen to be making progress. Reflecting on Ashley’s changing attitude to the club, the Toon boss said: “I think there has been a change in emphasis at the club. “We have gone from the owner wanting to sell the club to ‘OK, there’s a change of emphasis’. “He wants to keep the club and make it as competitive as it can be in the financial bracket we’re in. “The only way we can get Mike to attack that upper echelon of clubs is to make him see there has been progression. To make him see that it can work. “Then maybe then he might have the flavour to attack the top five or six – that is what I want to get, but let’s be realistic, it won’t happen in one years time or even two years time. “Maybe in that third year of my contract if everything works out and I’m lucky enough to still be the manager of this club – then hopefully it will take place.” How far are they along that process? Further than when he took over, Pardew says. But not there yet. “We’ve stoked his fire at times, but then it goes out. You have to re-stoke! “He’s had so many disappointments since he’s been here . . . it’s very dangerous if I have too many times when the fire goes out. “Even when I’ve been here, there’s been one or two occasions where I’ve felt it’s hurt him to a degree. “And when you haven’t got a board you might not have 14 opinions.” psychic or just ahead of the curve, as usual

trophyshy 7084
Financial Bracket Toppers! WOOT! Hopefully maybe in three years' time we might, if Pardew is lucky enough to be manager, we might have the 'flavour' to be attacking the top six. Great news there! A plan at last! Christmas Tree 4835
Cant believe all the positivity around at the moment and a load of you are still so negative. Maybe your just not morning people. I mean seriously, some of the shite posters on here posted in the "Newcastle set to sign international midfielder" thread and low and behold we are only about to tie up the main man in Frances championship winning team. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=909874 I had that warm tingling feeling then, but oh no, the doom mongers were out.... "some shitter from West Ham on a free" "Bret Emmerton" "It'll no-one imo. And this will just fade to silence in 3 weeks." Shame on you negs... At least as usual, open minded Chez was bang on the money.... We need cover for Tiote and someone who can also play a strong defensive role alongside him against the better sides away from home. Honestly, some of you need to have a serious word with yourselves now, before its too late or you'll all end up like LM, looking for gloom and doom in everything just so that someday you can tell everyone how you were once right about something. Barton'll be off next year at the latest, Ricky's on the way out, Carroll's already gone, Nolan's unhappy about the Barton saga as the contract he said he'd sign a month or so ago still hasn't been signed. Rumours going round that Jonas might be off too. Those players have been instrumental in getting us to where we are now, and are clearly the driving force behind the team spirit that's been established. It's good that we're signing players (we haven't got any yet) but if we lose our key players it isn't going to help nearly as much as it should. trophyshy 7084
CT I've had an ignore free experience on this site for about a year but your saccharin shite is pushing that policy to breaking point. I'm positive as fuck in my life and that's the only way to go, but to be blindly positive about something you can do fuck all about when the reality of things is quite different is not for me, not for many and perhaps even, in this instance, the preserve of the naive, stupid or attention seeking. Hopeful realism is a different thing, but BFMA has managed to squash even that that out of many of us to be replaced by something more cynical, or maybe it is just appropriate realism. You cannot make us all wrong for that when you know what a pair of A-grade cunts him and Dekka have been, will be and are.
