CleeToonFan 1
I don't understand how you can be disappointed with Cabaye. Admittedly he's not been banging in goal after goal but his passing is an actual joy to behold. Let's say we have Cisse, Ba and Ben Arfa on the pitch having someone like Cabaye there to carve open defences is perfect, even yesterday which I thought was one of his worse games of the season he played some amazing balls through the air and having someone like him in the team next to a ball winner like Tiote is an almost perfect cm combination, get some more action out of Jonas and hopefully get HBA on the right wing and I won't be complaining at all. Dr Gloom 21924
He brings a lot more to the overall team pay than Nolan did but we haven't really relaxed nolan's goal threat from midfield. Take Ba out of the equation and you wonder where the goals are going to come from.
ChezGiven 0
His pass to Best into the box in the opening period yesterday was brilliant, like the one at Norwich for Ba's first goal.
Christmas Tree 4725
His passing is great, it's his play around the edge of the box that we've seen glimpses of but lately has very much disappeared. I'm sure it probably is a case of Pardew preferring him to hold midfield more. Hopefully it will return.
tinofbeans 91
don't forget with tiote away, he's having to rein in his more forward thinking stuff.when Cheik is back i reckon we'll see more....

jonasjuice 0
I like that fight in him though. Obviously its gone too far when hes kicking out like yesterday, but he always looks like he cares an I think it can give a little boost to the others sometimes to see someone so passionate. Natural born winner.

Tom 14011
Oh what utter shite from the F.A. It didn't look like anything to be honest, what about Rooney on Coloccini, that's ok is it? Van Persie Elbows somebody, Crouch pokes somebody's eye, but as soon as it's a Newcastle player there's a charge.
JonGoodwyn 1
He deserves a ban if he tried to kick someone in the face - that's absolutely not on.

Monroe Transfer 0
When did Crouch poke someone's eye? Whilst playing for Stoke? If so I'm not sure how you can imply that there's a conspiracy afoot.

Brock Manson 0
It's his fault for having a nasty look on his face as he was being fouled. I didn't see any intent on Cabaye's part, just the fanny pointing at a tiny sliver of blood as if his upper lip had been gouged off.

Yup, I was relieved on the night that he didnt get a red, but I knew this was coming. Has a touch of the Dennis wises does our Yohan.

There was zero intent what-so-ever, a complete piss take by the FA, supported by people who see too much in nothing!
Davey Dave 0
The lad who got it in the face deserved a slap, mind. Typical clogger defender trying to make a name for himself by acting the hard man.
