Andrew 4855
Pleased Ultimate Team is in from the start this time rather than an add on, also pleased I preordered and got the special edition with a bunch of free packs not got stuck into a manager mode career yet, still getting to grips with tactical defending before I do
Andrew 4855
am I the only one getting annoyed with how long everything seems to take on this one? all the loading/saving screens or starting a different game mode, even going back to the arena
Monroe Transfer 0
Oh Well I was hasty with that "every club appears to have one" comment. A fair few do, mind.

nortoon 0
Tried ultimate team now and got mauled 6-2 by someone with a full bayern munich team stuck with in-forms. The twat must have bought about 500 packs. Somehow ricardo fuller didnt produce the good up front.
Andrew 4855
Ive got a mint team, you just need to wheel and deal a bit, helps that the special ed gives you 3 free packs at the start of every month so i got a bunch yesterday may try and stick a toon squad together at some point team now is Rui Patricio Ramos Verthongen Lucio Coentrao Jesus Navas Lucho Gonzalez Stankovic Vargas Muller Dzeko played quite a lot of games though and as i said, wheeled and dealt in addition to my few packs, teamworks shite in most places though, Navas and Ramos work amazingly together, you can really see a difference in the AI play and Stankovic knits together Lucio and Vargas nicely

StoneColdStephenIreland 74
Just had a few mates round for a FIFA tourny and drew Spurs out the hat. Knocked Arsenal out in the pre-group knockout round then had to go up against Liverpool, Bayern, Barca and Madrid in the group stage and came 3rd only losing to Barca and Madrid. Bit gutted like but next time I'll be bringing the goods

Andrew 4855
Servers have been shite so far as well, number of times ive been booted out of UT because of some server issue is ridiculous, this is EA the forerunner of charging an extra tenner to play their games online "for server upkeep" they are a proper set of cunts, they can leave the gameplay alone for me next year, they need to work on...everything else about the game, menus are gash and slow, interfaces are stupid and badly thought out. seriously, next time you go on see how long it takes you to get from turning on your xbox to kicking off an exhibition match, a "quick game of fifa" actually takes fucking ages
ULSTER MAG 0
Not a great lover of fifa, but got it anyway. Pretty shite at it to be honest but have started the ultimate team. As said before it takes ages to get a game online, must have been 10 min yesterday while some wee prick was deciding his line up. And yes Ant, it does bring you right back to the arena, does my fuckin head in.

The amount of lag, disconnections from the servers etc is unbelievable and is the most frustrating part about the game. You would think after a year or two of having shitty servers they would change or upgrade them but they havent
Andrew 4855
its more the charging extra for their upkeep that rankles with me to be honest, one of the bullshittest practices currently seeping into the industry, needs stamping out

Andrew 4855
You think the money is going on 'upkeep'? Come on now... no, because im not stupid and am actually fairly up on my gaming it is what they claim however, the "online pass" phenomonon is headed mostly by EA though ubisoft arent far behind and im sure the other big publishers will follow suit pretty quickly, this along with day 1 and on disc DLC are among the things I hate about gaming at the moment
Tooj 17
Played a class Newcastle vs Newcastle game online last night, which I ended up winning 5-4. I'm conceding a bucket load at the moment, as I haven't got round to "learning" tactical defending yet. As I'm confident enough that I can outscore my opponents. Tom 14013
Amazing the amount of people who pick Barcelona and then play either hoofball or defend a 1-0 lead by playing possession football in their own half.
