Ancelotti

Bet he's glad to be gone tbh.

When you've got record signings being brought in under your nose, who the owner says you have to play, the manager really doesn't have much control to be judged on. Top bloke though, is Ancelotti.

Sacked for finishing second in the league - Keegan was fucking worshipped for the same achievement 15 years ago.

I know it's not happened many times, but Man Utd have under Ferguson finished the season with nothing. Never even a thought of sacking him... Chelsea have ideas miles above their station and go on as though success is their god-given right.

Hope they crash and burn - greedy cunts.

It's madness. Its just about understandable if they are all about getting a new manager to start the rebuilding job that's coming up soon for them and they are concerned that maybe carlo's not one for the youngsters. However, Roman's all about the champs league and he has now discarded 2 of the few managers who genuinely know how to win that cup.

Only thing that makes sense is if they get Guardiola or Villas-Boas, neither of whom appear overly keen to move this season.

This fella delivered them the double 12 months ago as well. A comparison has to be Man Utd in 1995. Having won the double in 1994, they missed out on the league to Blackburn, were beaten in the Cup final by Everton didn't feature in the Coca-Cola Cup Final. Yet they stuck by Fergie and he delivered another double the following season.

Absolutely disgusting carry on at Chelsea.

Neither or which I think will want to work with a club who show absolutely no loyalty to their manager. Hope Hiddink tells them to go fuck themselves - he's clearly who they want again.

Idiots. A great manager and decent guy gets sacked for next to nothing, the whole thing reminds me of the Hughton sacking. I just don't see how anyone is going to do a better job there with the aging backbone of the team and what may well be a finished Torres leading the line.

I'd not do that job even if I was Hiddink. Roman is the new Deadly Doug, and goes through managers like nobodies business since Jose was sacked. Still, if Carlo fancies staying on in England, I'm sure he'd be welcome at Ewood Park...........Mind you I think Ian Huntley will only be slightly less popular than Kean as manager.

Since Man City's owners came in, the near universal derision for Chelsea has decreased a bit.

I don't agree with that. So much wrong with that club and how they do things.

Abramovich is a maniac and deserves derision, but in regards to why the hatred has shifted:

Team with most money = Buys most of the best players = Jealousy, Frustration and Annoyance = Hatred

Always has and always will be that way. People dress it up in loads of different ways but most of the idiots who say 'I hate Team X they just buy success' would give a testicle for an owner like City's. Even if the owner wasn't a tit there'd be plenty of people who hate Chelsea.

I think theres a element of fans of the 'old guard' like Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool who paticularly don't like it because they feel that clubs like Man City don't 'deserve' to come out of no where to be up there challenging them.

I don't like how the chances of success for most teams these days pretty much rest on waking up one morning with a Abramovich, but thats just the way it is at the moment and I don't hate teams like City for striking lucky.

I just hope it's our turn next.

. . what's this Van Basten crack ?

if happens it'd be a fair shock ?

I think the story is that Hiddink and Van Basten will form a duo much like Big Ron Atkinson and Gordon Strachan did at Coventry. But with more pornography, mild cheese and weed, and far less cheap jewelry, racism and relegation.

Abramovich probably sitting on a yatcht somewhere muttering to himself about negotiating on Ron-esque sunbed sessions and broadband speeds as part of the contract .

looking like a labotomized backward .
