Not if he comes over riding a dragon and fucks up the white walkers! I still think it's going to be John tbh, maybe he'll marry dragon tits?

Still don't think he'd ever be accepted. Somehow the credit would go to someone else. No doubt someone much more attractive.

Aye the major theory is he's the son of Rhaegar Targaryen (Dragon tits' brother) and Lyanna Stark, so she's his Aunt. Being a family member never stopped the Targaryen's though.

Think they might confirm that this season. The next episode is supposed to have the tower of joy scene (where Ned and his mates including Howland Reed go and rescue Lyanna from the kingsguard but find her in a bed of blood). We might get confirmation of the promise that Ned made to her (the suspicion being that it was to look after her son Jon and keep his Targaryan parentage hidden from Robert). I think they're probably more likely to drag it out so we just see them fighting this episode and Ned speak to Lyanna further down the line. Edited by David Kelly

Even if they do reveal it, it's only revealed to Bran, Jon (and the rest of the world) won't have a clue.

Yeah for now so it's not a game changer to where things are to the population of Westeros. But it's a game changer for the audience.

Aye, we saw the White Walkers in the 1st episode, they weren't properly revealed to a PoV character until the Fist of the First Men, (I think?). The drama came in the audience knowing something the characters do not.

I've no idea how they're going to bring Bran back into the world mind. It's not like the Watch are in any hurry to go North of the Wall, he doesn't look likely to leave that creepy tree any time soon either.

Well Bran finding out about Jon could be the impetus there. He's happy where he is at the minute but him realising Jon's importance could spur him to head for the wall (or wherever Jon is at that time). I reckon that's not likely to happen before the end of this season though. At some point I think they have to bring Bran and Arya back to Westeros or they're not really going to be able to have any impact in the end game.

Reckon you're right about Bran, and we'll likely see the Lyanna scene next episode, Bran will push to the Wall, but Jon will already have left by the time he arrives.

Arya will return when she's completed her training, she'll get a mission to off someone in Kings Landing, maybe even Dragon Tits, then she'll come face to face with a sibling.

No doubt Rickon will return as a massive warrior and lay waste to everyone in his path.

That would be in keeping with the whole flow of the story so far. Whenever anyone is looking for anyone else they always get there to find the other person is gone.

I could have replied to the responses to my earlier post, but I thought better of it as I would have been like CT in most threads, completely out of my depth. Best leave the who's, why's and where's to the grade A geeks and just enjoy the tits.

Aye I think that's coming this season as well. Be canny funny if everyone was wrong about Jon but tbh from where I was up to in the books (particularly the bit in the book where dragon tits goes into the house of the undying and sees someone that clearly matches a description of Lyanna playing a harp and a Targaryan holding a baby talking about Ice and Fire) and what has been on the tv show it all points to that theory being true.

It's honestly not difficult to follow. You can get through the books pretty quickly if you need further help though.

 I heard she is meant to actually be attractive in the books.

Comely, I think.

I think the R+L=J is pretty much canon now.

But will the theory about Wyllis being a warg and losing his mind after warging into Lyanna's horse so he could spend more time with her and staying as a horse for too long, meaning he is now Hodor and has horse brains (also see fear of Lightening and enjoyment of carrying Bran on his back) be shown to be true this season as well. I think that's the real issue in GoT's.

Not read Clash Of Kings for a couple of years but I thought the lass holding a Targaryian baby in drangon tits vision was supposed to Raegar's dornish missus holding Aegon. I might be getting confused with another part of what she saw in the house of the undying like.

He's Walder in the books. Know what I mean?

Not having read the books (nor having any intention of doing so), I find it very difficult to follow. I still only know about 5 characters names and they keep introducing new characters and re-introducing old characters. They need to set it up like an EA Sports game where their name and team flashes up at the bottom of the screen whenever they appear.

That's the bit, I always thought it was Lyanna. It's been ages since I read it mind so I could be off.

As in a Frey? Not sure mate I just saw that daft Hodor theory on reddit, I don't think it's true but it was a bit mad how much the bloke tried to force the link.

That was someones real theory? I thought you were just taking the piss :D

Aye it's mentioned somewhere in one of the books that his real name is Walder but I assume they've changed it to avoid the confusion with Walder Frey. Same as they did changing Asha's name to Yara to avoid similarities to with Arya.

I've watched it all a couple of times at least and read all the books at least once each. But I never had much problem keeping who was who clear in my head. Found it much less difficult than Lord Of The Rings where all the names sounded the same and most of them looked the same. I suppose it's down to how much I've loved it right from the start. I have a good memory for things I'm interested in. That's why I'm a shit accountant.
