Don’t get me started on cunts who request a read receipt.

Years ago I had a script which mail-bombed anyone requesting a read receipt with whatever arbitrary number of receipts you wanted to. People soon stopped doing that shit.

Bloke sent me an email at 17:08 on Friday and then sent a Teams message ar 07:08 this morning aisling if I'd read his email.

Well yes cunt I did, but I'm now going to ignore it for at least a day - if you're lucky.

People who begin emails with “gentle reminder”

Look, cunt. I was deliberately ignoring you and hoping you’d get the message. Fuck you and your passive aggression

Well as a gaffer who has to send those emails, just fucking do what you were asked the first time and you will stop getting reminders!

I work in a business where my inbox is bombarded by clueless dickheads chancing their arm. I almost feel sorry for them at times because PR can be a soul-destroying job and they’re used to this treatment. Replying to every pitch would be a full time job. Not happening. On the rare occasion when I do reply to let them down I usually get a grateful response because they’re so used to being ignored but get the fucking message. I don’t ignore the people that matter

My gaffer gets close to 200 emails a day. Most of em shite. Our office manager ccs him into emails about getting milk ffs. I've told her there's no need for him to be in these emails and she disagrees with me. 😂

Fair enough. My emails are more in the realms of:

"Just a gentle reminder to remember to make a MARAC referral for that woman that's a high risk of being murdered by her husband, because I'm fucking sick of picking this up after the fact every day"

People (women) who don't like driving somewhere they've never been before. If you can drive and you can read a sat nav, what fucking difference does it make if you've been there before or not!?

Tell her to ask for directions from wherever the game is back to her house- she’s been there before, shouldn’t be a problem.

Then get the fucking airhead to reverse the directions.
