Depends on the aisle space. For a big supermarket,  go past, for a local one, its usually one way. In which case the fuckers taking ages to pick something off the shelf fuck me off.

Who's wearing a mask now btw? I am when shopping, pretty sure if everybody did it would make a big difference.

Pretty sure it wouldn't. Half the knackers are walking round with chopped up boxer shorts on their faces, wearing the same rubber gloves they've had on for a week spreading god knows what to everything they touch

Same goes for people that literally jump into oncoming traffic to avoid walking past someone on the path

Mind, you encounter some right weirdos when you're out and about, sometimes it's better to be proactive and avoid them than risk them making something of it.

I didn't mention gloves, I don't see the advantage of them over clean hands.

Pretty much every country in the world is mandating face coverings now. Pretty much every country in the world has lower infection rates than us. I'm not saying the association is causal, but I wouldn't trust any advice our government gives, and anyway, isn't the advice here now to wear face coverings in confined spaces, such as public transport?

My new favourite thing is spotting people driving their cars whilst wearing a mask. I want to cut their brake cables.

 I had similar thoughts, then realised it could be tradies and the like who don't want to handle/remove the masks prematurely when they will need to put one back on again shortly. Looks fucking ridiculous though.

People who begin emails with “gentle reminder”

Look, cunt. I was deliberately ignoring you and hoping you’d get the message. Fuck you and your passive aggression

And don’t get me started with “just bumping this to the top of your inbox in case you missed it”

We both know I didn’t miss it. I ignored it and you better believe I’m ignoring this feeble attempt to solicit a reply

Can you not eventually get round to replying when it's too late apologising but stating that their reminder was so gentle it unfortunately completely passed you by?

Emails in general for me.

they’re so easy to ignore though. That’s the beauty of them. Not like the messenger apps which tell the sender if you’ve seen their message or not.

At least most people have stopped calling on the phone these days. I’m genuinely startled to receive a call these days as so much communication is done on text. I’ve only got one or two friends who still stubbornly insist on phoning to make plans when it could be done in two seconds on WhatsApp. It’s only ever those cunts, or my mam, or scam callers that bother phoning me these days.

Or it’s some PR twat who didn’t get a reply to their fourth gentle reminder and has decided to go for the nuclear option. Cue the most awkward conversations of the year. “Oh, yes, I’ve been meaning to get back to you [a blatant lie], I’m afraid this story pitch isn’t quite right for us. Blah blah blah

You clearly are not an expert in emails.

There is a defined process for actually responding to emails:

1) Check if you're in the to or CC section - if it's the latter then it goes immediately in the bin. If not then;

2) Mark as read - if it's important then pick the phone up.

3) Ignore the reminders - again, it's obviously not important enough to ring.

4) Wait months before doing some housekeeping on your inbox. See the email and repeated reminders and;

5) Delete them.

All of the above doesn't cover the repeated phone calls you must ignore from the person or people chasing up on this extremely important request because, if it was that important they'd come through to the office and ask you face to face.
