LeazesMag 0
just bought a few things lately, couple of DVD's, battery charger for a camera, new battery for my mobile. Why do these sellers wait until you give them a positive feedback before giving you the same for immediate payment etc In the case of the 2 batteries, I quite rightly tested the batteries over a couple of weeks until I knew I was happy with them, as soon as I said they were fine, the sellers gave me my feedback within minutes. I am keeping a few dozen or so for sentimental value, but I've got a lot to sell, I've had some up for sale, sold some, will put more up for sale, and do a car boot with my mate along with other things soon. What I don't sell I will give to a charity.

Or tell me what charity shop you're putting them in and I'll get them for a bit cheaper

But you're just one bloke with loads of time on his hands. You're probably buying your batteries off people who send out a few hundred items week, businesses don't have time to worry about confusing you. I think it happened when I bought a DVD from a "normal" seller too. Never mind, I just fancied a moan about it I see the reply from NJS as being highly likely tbh

Most of my collection is 70's and 80's rock/pop, some 60's. Love the 60s pop/psych/rock side of things as well the early 70s sound. If you've got any early Bowie (or rather, from 68-77), I'd be interested in them.

It's heavier because Mick Ronson was handling most of the arrangements when Bowie was busy shagging his wife.

Hey great Lm, I'll turn you into a Leps Supafan in no time!! Yeah I like some tracks on Adrenalize......Tonight is my favourite ( I have the live, demo and acoustic versions of the track, but then I am a Supafan ) Stand Up, White Lightening and Heaven Is are good too, but for me the remainder of the album is too predictable and 'studio' sounding. You can't beat their first 3 albums but there are still lots of gems on later releases. I have a DVD of them live and acoustic from the Wapentake club in Sheffield 95. Their set was brilliant and also inc a great version of Ziggy. Also if you liked any Mott the Hoople/Ian Hunter songs check out Joe Elliott's Down n Outz album. He joined up with some of the Quireboys and recently toured with them opening for Paul Rodgers. Great songs. Also download the DL Yeah album, its an album full of really well done covers.
