just bumping this back up.

Got Plan B of Byker Key Club v The Turbinia in the Malcolm Turner Trophy if all else fails

:D taak aboot dregs of society, and I say that with Walker blood swishing through my veins. Very poormans Buffs, where they have some type of Norwegian.

Me mother n fatha had their wedding do in The Turbinia never been in, but it reminds me of Oz for some reason.

Prefer The Bird's Nest mesel like :D

:D is that still open? They had a cracking sunday league team them for years. Did you ever go in The Scrogg Alex? I've been in every rough bar in the West End of Newcastle, some in Gateshead, Sunderland, Blaydon, Ryton and Winlaton too, and I'm telling you now that is the roughest bar I've ever seen in my life. The manageress literally had four teeth and three o them were black. Domino card being passed round for tac (only seen that before in the Whin Dyke), and the only reason we didn't get our heeds kicked in cos my mate was waiting for his pal to drop some cowies off. Then we had to walk to Walker Road via this kids flat. Fuck me, them were the days

No idea if it's still open like. I was last in there about 10 years ago (maybe more). If they know you, you're alright. And I've never been in The Scrogg but I used to go past it in the car every week on the way to my Gran's. Me and a lad at school (who also had Walker family) used to laugh about it as even the name sounds rough. I've been in The Lord Nelson for a pint with my (now deceased) Grandad. Fuck me  He was totally oblivious as to how rough it was (mainly due to being short of lamp oil) but he thought it was canny because it was so cheap.

I donno where the Lord Nelson is, but the Lord Clyde at Byker would be up there in the top 10 worst bars I've ever been in. When I was a bairn Shields Road was mint Parish's felt like Buckingham Palace and speaking to me uncles the bars were excellent too, now it's just a pure bamps paradise. The Raby ffs. It's just horrific, again maybe 9 or 10 years since I was there but fuck me. Seems a lot of us have Walker origins on here like, all the proper geordies have Walker blood. Aye the name "The Scrogg" :D it just sounds rough as fuck, I used to think the same about "The Deckham" in Gateshead too although never went in there.

Was just called The Nelson I think actually. Might well be pulled down now. My Grandad's been dead getting on for 10 years (2002). He used to love The Raby too :D because they did cheap lunches for pensioners. Again, totally oblivious to the clientele. Btw, I saw this the other day, which made me chuckle:

So nobody has a spare then?

It doesn't seem so.

Bare in mind if you buy a spare ticket the club have still received the money!
