Kitman 2207
The BBC "price of football" study shows ticket ptices have risen by more than double the cost of living, despite recession and huge increases in TV revenue. Administrators owners and players alike take matchgoing fans for granted and think no matter how badly theyre treated or how much theyre gouged, they will still turn up. The game is hopelessly out of touch with its grass roots and this 39th game thing is just another example of it imo. Personally I think the game is full of horrible greedy cunts, from pampered players and leeching agents through to fat corporate bastards and corrupt inept officials. Of course people make their own choices but if I was still in the UK I honestly wouldnt pay to watch top flight football anymore. The whole thing is utterly rotten and broken as a sport imo. As it is I live abroad so its not something I worry about anymore. Edited October 15, 2014 by Kitman
