Ayatollah Hermione 13766
Wasn't Hamilton Ricard up on trial for murder?
smoggeordie 0
Since leaving Middlesbrough, Ricard courted controversy both on and off the pitch. In 2002, he was involved in a car accident that killed a passenger, and was banned from football for twelve months for attacking a referee and making obscene gestures to the crowd while playing for Guayaquil side Emelec. The ban was reduced on appeal, and since then, Ricard attempted to move back to Europe to rejuvenate his career.

McFaul 35
Quadruple whammy from the smogs.  How on earth could you forget Ravenelli was a Smog? Scored a hat trick on his debut vs Liverpool IIRC. The ones to forget would be Mikkel Beck and Hamilton Ricard.  He did, and missed a sitter in the cup final. He(and Mendieta) just fitted in with Boksic and Branco who I had forgotten completely about.  Just totally out of place there. See the bloke in your pic at the bottom that's BrancO not Branca. Marco Branca was a suave Italian not a fat Brazilian.  Helder - I loved Helder me thought he would've been a great signing he made noises about staying when he was here, but then was like "fuck that" when he left. Scored against the mackems too.

Billy Castell 0
Didn't Hamann go to bolton and then to man city without playing a game?  Yep.  Blackburn:  Eyal Berkovic (loan) Kaba Diawara (loan, whilst we were in the 1st division) Niklas Guudmundsson George Donis (allegedly as good as Overmars) Tore Pedersen Per Pedersen (no relation) Oumar Konde Dario Marcolin Matty Holmes (our big signing after winning the league) Richard Witschge (loan, tried to buy him, but he thought he was too good for a league winning team) Egil Ostenstadt Jimmy Corbett (once heralded as the next Giggs, now a qualified Pharmicist) Djorkieff Johann Vogel Hakan Sukur Hakan Unsal  Other teams:  _____ Diomede (French bloke Houllier signed for Liverpool) Anthony Le Tallec (Liverpool) Andy Goram (Man Utd) Marcellino (sp? that Spanish defender you had) Eric Meijer (Liverpool) Bosko Balaban (Villa)  Didn't Bolton have a Mexican striker called Borgotelli or something? Barney 0
You got me confused with your Branco/Branca talk! Â BrancO won the world cup scoring a belter of a free kick along the way in the 1/4's or semis. Â I don't really remember Branca from his time there. I just remember a good goals record. Â Ricard played up front for them when they were in the equivalent of the Championship with Gazza and Merson playing for them. Ricard scored a fair few goals, I can't remember who his strike partner was, but I think he got a fair few as well. Â I digress. Another one for the list:

Tooj 17
Mick Channon had a (very) brief spell at Newcastle when KK was here as a player iirc. Â Mick Harford too around the same time. PaddockLad 17060
Christophe Dugarry at Birmingham....possibly the most talented player to play at any of the Brum clubs, certainly in the last 20 years....and possibly ever? Â Was mint for them, I think he scored at SJP when Sir Bob was manager...did they sneak a one nil?...mustve been the season we finsished fourth.. Billy Castell 0
Re: Hakan Sukur, he played a brilliant game against Fulham, then lost interest and disappeared on the pitch. He returned to Galatasaray soon afterwards. And all I can remember about Dugarry is that Andy Todd properly kicked him up the arse after Dugarry continualy dived and fouled during a game.. Â Anyway, back on topic: Â Ian Botham (Scunthorpe) James Beattie (played about 3 times for Blackburn before going to Southampton) Tony Gale (Blackburn) Ian Rush (Leeds?) Seth Johnson (Leeds) Tony Dorigo (Derby?) Steve Harkness (Blackburn) ____ Rozental (Newcastle defender) Ravenelli (Derby) Giles Barnes (Derby, or any other club he's signed for) Tyrone Mears (Marsailles) Gazza and Ian Wright (Burnley) Hierro (Bolton) Paul Merson (Portsmouth?) smoggeordie 0
Ravenelli I can remember playing for Derby just because of the pen he had saved at the Leazes in the Bobby era.
