In last 5 years we've spent less NET than any other team

We are bottom of the spending league since 2006.

The Mackems are 5th. Arsenal are 2nd from bottom. This is something we should be proud of, in my opinion.

Its a bit like saying we should've been proud of the club the day we got relegated at Villa....in fact this bell end probably thinks relegation was a good idea

20 Newcastle £63,100,000 £112,650,000 -£49,550,000

So he's clawed back almost 37% of the £134M he paid for the club without selling it through transfers alone. My chest is swelling with pride as I write this. There's nothing wrong with trimming down excessive spending but does this not somehow irritate you that a club with a cash rich owner, with a profile as high as ours, with gates that successful clubs can only imagine getting and everything going for us..............can see us as the lowest spenders?

You and your ilk are like wet dreams to AshLlamb.

How long are you lot going to bang on about us getting relegated? Do you wish we were still down, so that you could have more of an excuse to knock Ashley?

We shoudl be proud of being at the bottom of the spending pile BECAUSE clubs spend so ridiculous amounts these days.

We shouldn't be slaves to other clubs. Look what happened to Portsmouth? The honour in their FA Cup win is non-existant.

We aren't like clubs like Portsmouth, We have a 52'000 seat stadium and fans to fill it. We have 6 F.A Cups and we should be striving every year to make it a 7th, like we should be striving for a 5th league title and an another hundred games in europe.

If you don't spend money this wont happen.

We could have a million people at each match.

If, for whatever reason, we don't have as much money to spend as other clubs do (or kid themselves they do) then we can't spend as much as they do.

Sunderland and Villa have both admitted they have to stop spending so much.

The most successful club, Manu, are in the bottom half.

If you took away the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m) they would be in the top 3.

Sunderland are near the top.

Some people want to be high up the spending table, some people want to be far down.

Nothing wrong with disagreeing.

Fora would be boring without debates.

These fora are filling up with monga.
