He keeps getting mentioned as the favourite for every job that comes up but that seems to be as far as he gets. Pretty much guaranteed to get a job this summer imo. A nice thought but I wouldn't have thought the peanuts he was on here would have prevented a new managerial appointment. Those tiny figures would just be lumped into his new deal. Walking into a new club and "taking charge" of a group of unknown players will be a lot tougher for him that stepping up to help out a determined group of players he knew well. I suspect his pride is driving him to have another go, but I can only see it ending in tears. Doesn't seem to have a nasty bone in his body and you need a few of those to succeed in management. Although his record in the Championship was fantastic and I think that's where he'll end up. Wist 'am will want a 'big name' though imo.
