Andrew, get ready, you're on, mate.

:good:

Well, hes not.

It was a nice goal though, he's doing well this season, 6 goals in 8 games.

To use one of Fishs oft used

Gemmill, are you happy we let Ben Arfa go and retained the likes of Gouffran, Marveaux and Obertan?

It's debatable whether a fully fit Sissoko offers more than an overweight Ben Arfa too.

The bloke had no future here. He wasn't interested, he was either injured or fat. The fact that his return to his home country seems to have reenergised him (temporarily at least) is not relevant to how his future would have played out here. He wasn't doing any of that shit here, he was walking round like Ricky Hatton between fights.

Framing the question as to whether a disinterested, fat Ben Arfa would be preferable to a disinterested, wantaway Sissoko is stupid. Firstly, Sissoko hadn't gone off the reservation at that point afaia, but more importantly do we really need to pick the least worst out of two dickheads.

Yes.

So, we've went from saving our tears for genuinely class acts to refusing to get over piss-taking players who got an incredibly easy ride because they were the poster boy for Pardew's anti-football? He and Pardew are gone now, just move on.

I'm all about Ayoze Perez myself. A real man's footballer.

Ben Arfa was the poster boy for Pardew's Anti-football? In what way?

Most of the Ben Arfa stuff is just looking back fondly at a kid who had unbelievable talent and a good connection with a lot of the fans. He was the first footballer in ages that consistently got me out of my seat, was likely to do the unpredictable, and do it with a big ol' smile on his face. Oh and having a wee pop at the Souness-loving so-called accountant.

 The idea we should just settle for this pisstaking fat dick. WHERE'S YOUR SELF RESPECT GLOOM?

Aye but that's the thing, he was settling for us, just like the rest of the mercenary cunts. :dunno:

Mind, I'd rather HBA was coming back from injury than CT's Marveaux.

Aye it would be great to watch him waddle out of the treatment room with the all-clear with just the 6 weeks left for him to shift the weight before we could even start thinking about match fitness. Where do I sign up to have this piss take out of me?

But imagine the amazing goal he scores when he does get back :spinwank:
