We could say this is a dress rehersal, get everybody ready to start properly on Saturday, then if you're oot you're oot? Anyone in agreement?

What? Now that I'm £27 up? I vote no.

I was gonna have a go at this, despite knowing anything about betting, sine it was only a fiver. I went to sign up to paddypower and they said they'll match my bet up to £50, is it worth just sticking £50 on something that is pretty much nailed on, like a Rangers/Celtic or Barca/Real win?

If you've got £50 to lose it's pretty easy

One last clarification for us "foreign" types - 5 quid or 5 units of one's local currency?

Aye, cos you're all bamps anyway and the pound is always worth more than the yank/convict dollar/euro etc..

So clean slate starting for Saturday aye? Once you're out you're out, so to save whinging I suggest people don't use all of theiir 5 quid in one go.

FFS stevie, just answer the question!

So 5 quid it is. Current exchange for my fellow antipodeans is 1GBP = 1.482 Aust peso

So 5 pounds is A$7.41
