Stream dies just before the last goal, of course.

Well, that should put to bed any lingering fears of relegation. Good performance, very happy with the level of control we showed even without Tiote.

So all that pre-game negativity has been shown up for what it is.....bollocks.

Remain positive and it spills onto the pitch. The lads done very very well today but for a few nervous spells.

So very good football going forward, some good ball retention and at times some very good pressing off the ball.

Well a truely deserved that win and the scoreline is justified.

What a great goal to finish the game off too!

Harper 6...Not alot to do

Simpson...7 Solid as was an option going forward, done well positionally

Ferguson...6 Looked nervous, grew into the game until injury

Coloccini...9 Outstanding reading of the game, cool calm and collected and great skill in the 3rd goal build up

Williamson...6 Done ok, not very confident on the ball

Barton...9 How we have missed him. Busy and some great balls all over the pitch...should of got on scoresheet.

Nolan...8 Great run into box for the goal, tidy performance.

Guthrie 6 Dissapeared for large parts, dont see this range AP talks about.

Jonas...8 Always wanting the ball, worked hard and a great goal at the end.

Shola...8 Hold up play was good, covered alot of ground and got an important goal.

Lovenkrands...7 Got his goal, some good movement...poor first touch at times.

Ranger done well off the bench, busy and strong.

Taylor played a big part in the 4th goal

Over all we are now 9th, 2 points behind Everton in 7th, we can look up instead of down now. 7 points above relegation zone.

Take this performance to Villa next week and who knows we could be safe next sunday evening.

We always come good in games like this....West Ham, Birmingham and today.

Do you think the players read this forum or something?

I doubt it but im sure they have the internet and an interest so its possible.

I just think that accross the whole support of the club its pessimistic and granted things arent great but what joy do you get being doom and gloom.

I love being right

Funny that we always come good in the games against teams worse than us

Debatable, we've dropped far too many points at home this season to inferior teams, t'was good to see a bit of clinical finishing for once.

I think it was a sideways dig at what i said tbh.

My point was in the MUST win games we have done well.

Was more of a gentle pisstake tbh. Fair play on you predicting we'd do well, still think we could do with another win, especially with the games we have.
