Craig 6682
Rank! You serious?? Sleeves are a tad questionable but swap the red for white and I'd have that shirt over our new effort every day of the week.
Tom 14011
It's the sleeves and the yellow that do it! Nasty!
Craig 6682
Yellow doesn't look good true, but it doesn't detract from a good shirt. Sleeves are fine to me - just a different approach for stripes. At least it's got stripes!!
tinofbeans 91
our new shirt has stripes. doesn't stop the players from looking like everton mints....

JonGoodwyn 1
I think the sleeves will look better when someone is actually wearing the kit. I quite like it.

Nice design, the red is a bit offensive though. its amazing how much of a difference could have been made by adding 2 more stripes, putting the crest and the manufacturers logo at an equal height and spacing the stripes so the crest sits symmetrically over them.....oh what could have been. Next year when we have Macron strips we'll look back and wish we still had these disappointing Puma efforts!
angrysteve 0
that man city shirt does look like it has an actual cape attached to the neck.

Guest alex
I like it and I like how it's their traditional change colours as well. I'd like us to have an away colour that we stick to. Either yellow/green or all blue would do me.
Craig 6682
West Bromwich Albion Announce Adidas Kit Deal West Bromwich Albion announced they have signed up leading kit manufacturer adidas on a multi-year deal. adidas will be the Club's new Technical Partner and the official supplier of all playing and training kit, which will only be sold via the Stadium Megastore, Merry Hill Club Shop and online. The Baggies' new home and away strips for 2011/12, which will be launched in the coming weeks, will feature adidas ClimaCool™ technology, a mixture of heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin in the key heat zones. Albion join an impressive stable of clubs who boast exclusive kit deals with adidas, including Real Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea - plus reigning World and European champions Spain. Albion Chief Executive, Mark Jenkins, said: "We are delighted to have joined forces with adidas, who are renowned for the design and quality of their sportswear. "We see it as a real coup to be working with such a leading worldwide brand, which reflects the strides we, as a Club, have made both on and off the field in recent years. "This is the first time the Club have had a kit deal with adidas, and considering the fact we are renowned for playing in blue-and-white stripes, and that adidas are famous for their three stripes, we are confident the news will be very well received by our supporters. "We are now looking forward to unveiling our new adidas home and away kits and training gear in the coming weeks." To mark the new deal, both the Stadium Megastore and Merry Hill Club Shop will undergo complete makeovers, featuring adidas graphic panels, signage and wall units. adidas' Commercial Club Partnerships Manager, Steve Holland, said: "adidas is looking forward to forging a great long-standing partnership with West Bromwich Albion. "We have developed some exciting activations off pitch such as the shop refit and hope that these are reflected with the continued success on the pitch next season." Source: http://www.footballshirtculture.com/sponso...s-kit-deal.html Get the feeling their kit next season is going to depressingly highlight what we'll be missing out on. It can't be as bad as Puma's efforts for a striped shirt, surely?
Tom 14011
People didn't like most of the Adidas stuff we had so I'm not sure we're missing out that much! There's some minging shirts out there for next season! We just have to pray for Umbro, Nike or Adidas after the puma deal expires. Or lonsdale... Craig 6682
adidas could be hit or miss. But in particular I liked the grandad collar, the one with the blue names and numbers and the last one we had which ended up being the Championship kit.
Howmanheyman 33161
I couldn't believe the amount of people walking around with our new shirt on sunday. It was the first time I'd seen it properly and it's even worse close up. Honestly, it's fucking terrible and how people are so blase about the shirt that represents our club is also a bit disappointing, especially whilst looking at the WBA fans in their decent shirts. Or people just have a different opinion to you, myself included. You make it sound like it personally wronged you. As for adidas, Tom is spot on that they're capable of some controversial kits too. And they sponsor about half the clubs in this country now.
