The real question that needs to be answered is; Why spikes? There's no logical reason for them. Classic case of overdesigning. The 'broken' white stripes look shit also. The floating voters must be a huge number though. Simple retro looking kits are what every fan I know wants. There's enough potential variation in neck/collar/ratio of black to white/badge layout to make a change every two years and still keep it simple. They'd do so well if they had some sort of poll on the club website with say 3 to 5 templates that the members/ season ticket holders could vote on. That would be far too much effort for them though. Turned out the lass doing the printing didn't even have a clue who Geremi was (this was right after we'd signed him as well!), had to write it down for her in the end.
