ULSTER MAG 0
Rangers are a billion times worse than Celtic. The Tic might sing about "The fields of Athenry," but The Huns fund sectarian killings in the Six counties, not to mention carrying out a fair few in Glasgow. It's time the SFA shut The Huns down for good; as an institution they are like the KKK in football boots Incidentally, I'm not a Celtic fan; I'm just someone who hates racism & prejudice Calling the Rangers fans Huns makes you no better than them. Both sets of fans are as bad as each other, one lot singing about the ira and the other the uda. Both have also contributed to the sectarian killings in Northern Ireland, or the six counties you refer to, over the years.

If I was from Northern Ireland I'd support an Ulster team or and English team, the OF just attract the Ulster bigots amongst yous. Tell you when I was in Belfast I noticed LOADS of Chelsea shirts, more the Rangers even, the three of them call themselves the blues brothers over there with Linfield. snakehips 0
I feel sorry for the folk of Ireland (N.I. in particular) being dragged into this Celtic Rangers shite. However they wont be disbanded, so let's just rejoice in the fact that they don't play in England (or whatever country you're reading this in - apart from Scotland, obviously) and let's ALWAYS work together to make it stay that way, should these arseholes who suggest that they do play in the Premiership raise their ideas again. They should NEVER be allowed to play in England.
bobbyshinton 59
Here we go the bobser view of this. First of all I'm Rangers biased (got a Rangers Tat. when I was young) Both sets of fans have their above average share of dicks, bad as each other. Unfortunatley it is more than football, inbred titism. Using the Seville / Manchester thing is shit as if it was the other way around it would have ended in a similar fashion. Newcastle have thier fair share of idiots as well. Some of the people I know would have done that and I would have laughed. We once got a tramp pissed in Wetherby put him on our bus and dropped him off in Birtley. Could not give a fuck what people think. Some one said they do not give a fuck about Britain, me I'm more than proud to be British, Irish, Welsh, Scottish, the people of the Commonwealth all who have helped to make Britian what it was. When you look at history it is fantastic what Britain has acheived (anway I digress) Celtic and Rangers pack of knackers.

Makes me laugh when they claim to be the best fans in the world, biggest glory hunters in the world. I'm not gonna start bangin me chest and drum like I have done, but WE ARE BY FAR AND AWAY THE MOST LOYAL FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS IN THE WORLD. Anyone that contests that is a wum or a cunt. Bobby the last time Rangers played in Barcelona 2 years ago, they had 15,000 fans over, ransacked Las Ramblas and said Rangers will never be allowed back in Catalunya again, I'm sorry mate I disagree. As for the Commonwealth they'd all have been third world without us, I mean look at Wales, what has Wales got?? They wouldn't even be able to feed themselves for fuck sake. They've served their purpose, give them all their autonomy now, see how they get on, Scotland would thrive imo, if we let them have the oil especially. Billy Castell 0
Too true Toonpack. I used to visit a Hearts site on occaision the the phrase OFGTF (Old Firm Get the fuck [Out]) was often used. I also hate it when they try to foist their bigotry on us English e.g. 'Celtic has a connection with Liverpool as we're both Catholic clubs'. Fuck off you sad deep fried smack sinking shits. We will never subscribe to your Belfast Lite cowshit, so don't rope us into your Tennants addled games.

I know some Scottish lads are good lads mate, I've lived and worked there as you probably know, but you have to admit when it comes to football it IS pretty disgusting at times, they really don't understand that being a protestant or a catholic just doesn't matter to other people. Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
They've both got more than their fair share of sectarian nut-cases. I've been to both their grounds in the last 18 months and in my personal experience celtic are far, far worse. Pro-IRA songs I expected, but Pro-taliban songs, fucking hell. The anti-British atmosphere was quite intimidating. Been to Ibrox twice this season (our pre-season game and them vs. Aberdeen) and had no probs at all. It was the saturday before poppy day for the dons game and the reaction they gave the returning troops at half-time was as stark a contrast as you could possibly imagine. I'm not massively pro-British either by the way, my allegiances are strictly with Newcastle & England, and I'm not in the slightest bit interested in religion. manc-mag 1
Sectarian nonsense to one side (which is more than bad enough to start with) they've also got massive big-fish-in-small-pond syndrome, which brings out the absolute worst in them when they go away and play other 'big' teams. For which simply read any non-Scottish teams. If you tell them how great they are, blow smoke up their arses and all that they're fine, but if they get wind that you're any way short of being in complete awe of how 'big' they are as clubs, they're fucking abysmal. Plus it must be massively apparent everyone thinks all of their domestic honours are a complete joke, which no doubt gets their backs up seeing as they spend 95% of their season wasting their own time. So, so fucking true. I actually like Glaswegians, I find them totally hilarious, met loads of gooduns but once you start talking about football it's a fucking nightmare. I actually think and I can say this from a qualified point of view and perhaps ScottishMag can back me up. The OF fans from Glasgow they're generally not that bad, the worst ones are from Northern Ireland, and the parafin little satelite towns round Glasgow, like Coatbridge, Airdrie, Greenock, Hamilton and Falkirk. They all tell you what massive fanbases they have, and when they do I always tell them they're no better than us, to which you think I'd just told them their fatha was a paedophile. It's about a catholic kid, who get set about off a gang of prods in NI, and they jumped up and down on his head till he was dead. I think it's because the English ruling class have oppressed both Ireland & Scotland (and continue to do so by occupying 6 counties of Ireland) that Celtic fans have an understandable problem with the English ruling class. Rangers just appear to be fascists & Uncle Toms. P.S. just spent all weekend with 2 mates from County Roscommon, so I may not be either seeing or thinking straight
