"Getten ze Bapszuns out" (To any ample chested fraulien you may encounter) And from the 'Commando' books I read as a bairn; "Gott in Himmel!" "Achtung!" "Schnell!" "Hande Hoch!" "Feuer!" Apart from that, they usually switched to English which was handy for their average British reader.

Jill 0
Used to be really good at it at school and I can still read/understand some written German but panic at the thought of having to speak it as I can never seem to form a sentence. Matty will testify to this as I could only think of about 3 words when I met his German mate and totally bottled it.

My school, and there's plenty on here who went to, was like two schools in one really, first and second year were over a quarter a mile from the upper school so we didn't know some of the teachers. When you went in to third year, you had a choice of keeping or sacking french, and you HAD to do Italian or German. I chose Italian, I can speak some but not much now and I can read it ok, I read gazzetta.it no bother quite often, but how gutted was I? As soon as we got to upper school, we seen who the German teacher was, fuck me, I've never ever ever seen anyone in my life with bigger more perfect tits, and the worst thing about it is she'd wear the tightest sexy tops, she was better than a pornstar if you forgot about her boat. Anyway this is fuck all to do with this thread Mrs Mitchell's tits, but dear me, I would've went cockeyed if I'd have done German. Anyway Herr Rossay, remember this song? Eins Zwei Polizei Drei Vier Grenadier Funf Sechs Alte Hex Sieben Acht Gute Nacht Ja Ja Ja Was ist los? Was ist das? Possibly Germany's greatest ever contribution to world music. Where abouts in Deutschland do you live? I've just seen that BVB nul noin won 1-3 at Bayern last night, 13 points clear now, what the fucks happened to Dortmund, they were sheisser last season.
