one of the best players of his generation. shame he chose to play for wales and not england. him and beckham on either flank of our midfield in the 90s when they were at their peak would have turned england into genuine contenders instead of the nearly men

Mind if you didn't score every season in the Man U teams he's played in you'd have to be shit.

Hope he finally does fuck off after next season then. Good riddance.

Noticed he's started bitching at refs much more the last couple of seasons.

Decent lad but that FA Cup goal wasnt that fucking special, they just kept backing off the cunt.

You're a decent lad but didn't you say that George Best wasn't that good  I'm sure you said something like that.

I tell you what with Giggs he still runs quicker than some people 15 years younger than him, you could have the first modern day Stanley Matthews on your hands.

Shut up man  You could say the same about Maradona's goal against England

I think Giggs is class but I agree with wyki about that goal. It was obviously a very good goal but not as good as it's made out. The defenders did just back off. He ran from his own half and he'd only beaten about one man (who made a half-hearted challenge) before he was in the box.

Aye but the beauty of it was the pace at which he ran with the ball, not to mention (without sounding like Andy Gray) he had "no right at awww" to score from that angle past the England keeper, and I wouldn't even blame Seaman it was good a strike.

I'm not saying it wasn't a good goal btw. Speaking of FA Cup goals Ronnie Radford was on the radio again yesterday. FFS will we never hear the end of it? :o:lol:

Aye, once the Stevenage manager gets sacked, he'll be on the radio every FA Cup weekend.

;) When you hear Motson on about it as well, he remembers it like it was more vivid than his wedding day. "Curiously enough we got fish and chips on the way back in Swindon....." it did help make his career like but the way he even goes on about it a veteran of 10 WC Finals.

I was hoping Crawley would pull off what would've been an even bigger shock. Mind, their manager has a few bob on himself. Talk about playing to the cameras.

A great servant to the game.

Although due to his injuries I still don't feel we ever saw him reach his full potential.

By that, I'm talking about the player who scored that goal away at Spurs in the first season of the Premiership.

Great goal. Proper youthful know-no-fear dribble, including nutmegs. The one I always associate with him and miles better than the Arsenal one.

Will still be absolutely delighted when he fucks off for good.

Nutmegs is the best thing in football and calling it as you jog past just rubs salt in the wounds. Acceptable variations include "Awooga" whispered gently in the ear.
