Jan 0
I haven't lived in the NE since 1994 and have only spent the odd night up there since. I am up in the summer for a hen do. We are booked into the Comfort Inn (centre) so can anyone recommend any good restaurants, pubs and clubs in the area? Ta

Guest Marshall-Barnes
For a true modern Tyneside night out, get the taxi driver to tak you to www.theraby.co.uk mix of old and modern, cheap drinks too, interesting crowd in there, you're sure to pull if that's what you're looking for. No you can't go wrong for a one off night out in the toon. When you live here though and you've been everywhere 100 times done everything 100 times it gets boring, which is why I love going on the drink in other places. I've never got bored of nights out in London.

The toon's got plenty of places that can give you cheap cocktails and get smashed if that's what she's after.
