loonyTOON 10
I am totally confused and angry tbh. Lampard has missed the majority of the season with injury, and Milner rarely starts for Man City. However sky sports has them to start in the XI. Barton has been on amazing form, goals and assists and consistent in form. But no call up. Do the selectors actually want England to win something? Never thought I would say this, but Barton is better than Lampard this season.
Deano 0
Its a disgrace really. Capello says he picks on form and arguably Barton has been the best english midfielder this season so far. I'd go as far as saying i think Simpson deserves a call up too.

At points, Simpson has been stronger than Johnson. Its a total discrace, and it makes me sad that England still keep faith with big names instead of picking the players who are performing well. Shows how messed up the system is. The sooner gerrard, lampard etc retire from international the better. Imo, they should not be playing for England with respect to current form

Ayatollah Hermione 13760
I'm glad he's not tbh since we don't want him picking up an injury. I don't think he'd fit in with the rest of that squad, personality wise like.

Holden McGroin 6451
I cant believe Karl Henry made the 40 provisional squad. He is so sub standard it is scary. Nolan should be ahead in the pecking order. 10 goals. Top English scoring midfielder. I've said before but I'd have him the in the current england squad. Always good for a goal and his awareness when making runs is superb.
Billy Castell 0
Barton is bin-dipping scum. I don't care how good he's playing, he should never play for England. Nolan should be in the squad though.

Good luck, your gonna need it. And hope your not forgeting the scum you's have cheered for each week, Mssrs Savage and El Hadji-everyone hates me-Diouf. Jog On son! He's entitled to his opinion, and it's nothing that many of our fans, myself included, weren't saying about him ourselves prior to this season. I don't think Barton will ever play again for England simply because of his image. He could score 15 and still wouldn't be selected - never mind that Stevie 'Mike Tyson's Punch-Out' Geeeeeeeeeeee has arguably been just as bad but continues to be one of England's golden boys. ChezGiven 0
Diouf is clearly a far more despicable person that Barton. Neither will get selected for England though.
Exile 0
I could not be happier that none of our squad are getting the call up. It used to be an honor to play for England, but to be honest, after the gutless shambles that was the World Cup, I could not give two shits about the national side anymore. It might change when Capello finally fucks off, but at the moment I just see internationals as potential injuries to key players that we can't afford. Guest Your Name Here
Barton’s pushing 29 years old. It’s a bit too old for breaking into the England squad.... and of course his selection would see the media go into a frenzy about the morality of the national game. Can’t really blame the FA for ignoring him, the sad truth is Barton blew his chances of playing for England by spending the vast majority of his career being a prick. FWIW, I reckon he’ll make a good manager.
