If they're not or I've got my terminology wrong I'm sure Sloop or Happy will set me straight. There's a few I love that have already been mentioned but in the former category, 2001 takes some beating and a couple of soundtracks that spring to mind are the ones to 'Pi' and 'Almost Famous'.
