Asprilla 96
...overall, as a percentage. The season in the Championship was the best for ages. Regardless of the division, it was great to look forward to every game thinking we'd win. Then the excitement of promotion and the real hope that good times were ahead. Hughton had us playing as a team again and Carroll set his stall out against Villa with a hat trick. It felt like we had a real chance with some cracking players who other teams would look at enviously. Last night was what it's really like to support us. Thanks Mike, I'm sure having £735m in the bank feels SO different to having £700m in the bank.
Guest You FCB Get Out Of Our Club
I think this season has been the most fun since 02/03 tbh. I was bored of winning every week last season, I couldn't take another season in the Championship.

It's pretty much fucked now though IMO.

And ideally they'd prefer not to win either" [skysports/]
Dr Gloom 22203
I've enjoyed this season so far despite Ashleys best efforts to fuck it up. Plenty of time still for it all to go tits up
wykikitoon 20924
Last season was a feel good season, 3 points, goals and watching players develop, i.e Carroll, Simpson, Enrique, Colo. This season we have had some great wins and some gut smashing defeats. Aside from that, the departure of Hughton then appointing Pardew then the Carroll Saga. Its the off field stuff thats taken its toll more than anything. We now have a thread bare squad, the Routledge depart looks a VERY bad move now with Strola injured. Blackpool are in freefall at the moment (much to my enjoyment seaside shit hole) we could easily join them. Its going to be a long hard back end to the season. Guest alex
As others have mentioned, Ashley seems to be doing his best to fuck up this season, despite all the good things that have happened in it.
KeithJ 0
I think we will survive and not go down however we really must invest in the squad this summer with some young and hungry talent. Supporting Newcastle hasnt really been much of a joy to be fair! However it beats the time when we played pompey and went 3 goals down in the first 11 minutes! That was a long trip back to Edinburgh which was twice as long as there was rail works meaning the train went through Carlisle!
Tom_NUFC 0
Its been very up and down this year, but up and down sums up the entire history of Newcastle United. At times I feel sick and angry, at others its the best feeling ever. It'd be easier to support Man U, Arsenal or Liverpool, but I'm from Newcastle and I don't nee to tell any of you about local pride etc. I'm far to emotionally involved and care far too much, to turn my back on NUFC. I still get angry, but I get used to all the f*ck ups, embarrassing episodes, heartbreaks and disappointments.
