PS: The events of today seem to have inspired a few of you into verse - we wouldn't normally care to trouble you with these, but the following rewrite of "That's Amore" did make us chuckle:

When you're facing a rout, and he's thirty yards out, Cheick Tiote!

From the Ivory Coast, blasts it inside the post, Cheick Tiote!

Oh he left Fabregas, sitting flat on his ass, Cheick Tiote!

When your losing four three, he says leave it to me, Cheick Tiote!

Haha I love it

I've seen a few amazing games at SJP but the only one that comes near it was the 1960's game against W Ham when we were 5-2 down at home with about 20 mins to play - a mate of mine left and got home to hear the result (5-5) and nearly topped himself - but we didn't look as down and out as we did on Saturday at half time

Only one of the greatest results ever.

I can't really blame them.

It was a draw. It's hardly comparable with Howay 5-0 and the Barca CL results. And for 50% of the DVD we were absolutely fucking garbage.

Anyone paying for that want's their heads read - seriously.

Not sure what to make of this article.

I'm sure there's a compliment in it somewhere…

Good article that seemed to be starting out in the traditionally wrong-eyed insulting fashion, but finished off being refreshingly complimentary

but what impressed at St James' Park was the din created once the first goal went in. There were still three more to score, not counting the one that was wrongly disallowed, yet from the moment the fightback began the home crowd kept up a perfect storm of noise. Arsène Wenger admitted his players had panicked, and the extraordinary atmosphere must have been one of the reasons why. Arsenal could not break out of their own half, the decibel level kept rising, and at some point in the second half everyone in the stadium knew that Newcastle would get back on terms. Including all the players. Even so, Cheik Tioté's screamer of an equaliser produced one of the most joyous moments of this or any other Premier League season. It is difficult to jump for joy in a modern, all-seat stadium, but the Newcastle crowd managed it easily. There were people leaping into each other's arms, holding on to neighbours and chair backs for support and bouncing off the ground. It was quite something, a privilege to be present.

Fantastic stuff

Biggest turn around in Premier League history. I can see why they've released it.
